  1. I don’t know that source, but JoyRaining is legit for the price. Güde makes great stuff if you want something nicer.
  2. Thanks for your feedback! Ok, I`ll consider it.
  3. I haven't used the Magic Eagle. For reliability in cold weather, stick with known brands like Browning or Moultrie. They're worth the extra cost.
  4. Has anyone used Beretta clothing for hunting? I'm considering their jackets and field gear and would like to know how it holds up in wet or cold conditions.
  5. that's awesome when a 'trash fire' project just runs perfectly. A heavy .22-250 like that would be a laser beam.
  6. Try Musto, Browning, or Beretta for extended sizes. Also check UK specialists like John Norris or USK. If still no luck, consider a custom vest from Alderney Shooting Gear. Good luck finding the right fit!
  7. Evening all. I'm in the market for a new stalking rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor and have been looking at this 6.5 Creedmoor selection. I'm considering a Tikka T3x or perhaps a Bergara but would appreciate some real-world experience. Has anyone used either of these for deer? How do you find the accuracy and reliability?
  8. For boar, they have an incredible sense of smell, so playing the wind is more important than any bait. Set up downwind from their trails or feeding areas. Using a bait like corn can work to bring them into a specific area, but your scent control and staying silent are what will really seal the deal.
  9. The shrinkflation and quality drop in some big brands is really noticeable lately. Those supermarket own-brands have definitely stepped up their game and are often a better deal these days.
  10. With the shorter days coming, I've been sorting out my high-vis gear for those early morning and late evening walks to the hide. I found some solid reflective vests and arm bands that are lightweight and do the job without getting in the way. It's made a big difference for safety on dark country lanes - https://rununited.com/accessories/reflective-gear/. Aaaand I also picked up some Fila trail shoes there. They've been great for long days in the field - comfortable with good grip. Definitely worth a look https://rununited.com/fila/! Has anyone else found any good high-vis or all-day
  11. A Purdey Damascus 16 bore is a serious collector's piece. Its value depends entirely on condition, proof marks, and engraving. You absolutely need a certified appraiser who specializes in high-end English shotguns. Don't even guess at a price without one - it could be worth anywhere from thousands to tens of thousands.
  12. For a foxing rifle in .22-250, a Tikka T3x Lite is a fantastic mid-priced choice. They're incredibly accurate right out of the box. Pair it with a good scope – maybe something from the Pulsar or Sightmark thermal lines for night work.
  13. Good luck with your search. Those older CO2 rifles can be harder to find, but they sometimes pop up on used airgun forums and auction sites. Hope you find one in good condition.
  14. That sounds like a well-organized hunt in a promising area. The all-inclusive price for a brown bear, especially with no trophy fee, is very competitive. Good luck with filling the tag, it should be an incredible experience.
  15. That unusual "paper clip" spring is likely the main issue. A common fix is to replace it with an aftermarket spring kit from a company like YoDave or Rifle Basix. They are inexpensive, easy to install, and will give you a much lighter and cleaner pull without replacing the whole trigger unit.
