    i went to keens guns today with the intention of buy a hw90k with a set of 3-9x40, but i thought it looked rather plain, the guy then showed me an air arms prosport which was second hand for the same price, came with a sling, walnut stock and hawke 3-9x40 so i gave him a deposit, my wife picking it up on weds, did i make the right choice or do any of you think the 90 is a better gun ?

    Millet, this is the first time i've asked the question, and i didn't ask it for your entertainment, it was a genuine question that i hav'nt found answers to from other sources. My thanks to those of you who took the time to answer from your own experiences, i would have liked to pick your brains some more. I will not be doing so, have been put off by the general attitude of this group. dont be too put off mate there are some decent people here, its just there are quite alot of idiots too good luck

    ffs the lad has only just joined, and even one of the mods is having a go at him ? some topics on this forum make good reading, and come from some experienced hunters but a large percentage of them turn into a bitching session, we all supposed to be here to learn from each other, not look for an opening to have a go at someone, as my mam used to say "IF YOU HAVENT GOT ANYTHING NICE TO SAY THEN DONT SAY ANYTHING" cmon lads keeep it real Tim

    used to dig fox many years ago with my patterdales, one of our permissions we have now does a bit of shooting himself and has released a few pheasants for him and a select few to shoot, we are only allowed to shoot the foxes, rabbits,crows, magpies, pigoens, rats and tree rats, theres a nice big earth down in the bottom wood, we have russell bitch that is showing great promise, as its for the protection of game birds can we dig the red feker legally without having to worry about busybodies, only just started back hunting and the new laws are quite confusing, obviously we will have the shotgun

    i would take it to a gunshop to have it done mate if its way under powered, if you get caught with a gun that is over the 12 ft lb mark it will be classed as a firearm, and if you do not have an fac you will be sent to prison, not worth the risk, honestly
