What you're not understanding is that of course big pharma aim to make profit, they're businesses after all. But that doesn't negate the fact that their products often work, do you think it's good for business if their products don't bring results? They own me? I can bet my last pound you have lived your life relying on them in some form or another, and if you or any of your family suffered a serious health scare you'd be hanging on to every bit of advice they gave you, now who's the slave?

Without a doubt, it won't hurt to try anything, if you feel like you are getting benefits that's all that matters. What I don't understand is some folks need to claim this fad diet is better than the next, everyone is different, as I pointed out, even one of the leading advocates for the carnivore diet couldn't handle it after so long, he started having health issues in which he addressed.

If it's working then that's good for you, I just don't but the fear mongering of certain diets, if you eat anything with excess and don't eat balanced you will suffer down the line at some point. Even one of the biggest advocates of the carnivore diet admitted he had to give it up because he was getting health issues, he now has veg & honey. At the end of the day, if you eat a balanced diet and exercise you can't really go wrong.
