Agree with all comments. I didnt think that it would tangle them from the start but maybe just to keep them in the area i ferret, because i don't have hundreds of nets.

Ive got some mesh made from rope off building site (about 200 yards of it) And was wondering if it would be possible to turn it into some kind of longnet/stopnet to run around the warren im ferreting. Vauge description but some of you might know what im on about...I hope...

Ive got an old pelham and a couple of other bits but im most interested in the pelham. Its made by Watson and is solid nickel- Thats the only it of info i have... Can anybody shed some light on it? Its quite big i would say cob or bigger and has groves in the bar. Ill put some pics up later. Ive tried oogle but can't get anything. Cheers paddy

Been meaning to build a new run for the ferrets for ages so decided to get it done this weekend. 6ft long 4ft wide 2ft high. Half is a mesh lid on hindges and the other half is solid wood that lifts off. Needs painting now and some pipe adding and a hammock. Few pics... Paddy

Ive been aqccused of scaring the nextdoor but ones nabour with the noise from my gun when the dog was inside, and you lot know how quiet the weilrach silencers are. I think its just because they dont agree with kiling things (the doesy moo used live rat traps to catch them in the garage and let them go at bottom of garden.

Got a BSA ultra, my fave gun at mo. Weilrach silencer 3-9-40 hawke scope. Can't fault it

Im thinking of writing a letter to the local council to offer pest control on the park across my road (when i say park its really just a football pitch and lots and lots of woodland) and is not very bussy at all. I would put something like the work would be carried out at night and early morning befor people are around and what not. I know its unlikely but befor i do is there anyone here that has been given permission to shoot/ferret/trap on council land? Cheers paddy

Not cost much at all to have your old HD swaped into this machine. No hard job done it 100's of times. Means you can keep all your stuff then, dont have to faf about transfering it all. Paddy
