  8. Cheers for reply mate. I know what you mean with the barrels and what not. Just wonderd if was possible, i have access to a CNC Lave. and im not too bad with the workings and what not, so i may have a go at one when i get time. I would like to see some of his work though, like to see one off guns. Paddy
  9. If i was you i would strip it down replace seals and lube it or get a gun smith to do it but obviously that will cost more. Paddy
  10. I know it's been done, but how hard do you lot think it would be to make your own, by useing parts from old guns or cheap guns picked up 2n hand. Got me thinking this morning when i stripped my old SMK CO2 down for something to do, i would use the air res from tat and a short barrel say a bull barrel, get a stock made. Use a simle trigger mechnism and a loading system something similar to bold action. paddy
  11. I also use a JSR but it's a 3x9-50 with mill dot illuminated reticle and for 30 notes it's bloody ace, really clear well worth looking at their range.
  12. Does anyone know what other piston seals fit into a b2, for example wound a meteor seal fit? I'm guessing any gun with the same size piston will fit... Want to get it going again for ratting. Paddy

  20. Well it came at 8:15 this morning, very very pleased with it. Just been looking over feilds with it and i can see a lot more a lot clearer than my old one. I would reccomend J.S.Ramsbottom to anyone, very good service and prompt delivery. Packaged well. Paddy
  21. I have jusr orderd a JSR 3-9x50 Illuminated Mil Dot Scope for my ultra. Lootks a good deal at £30 inc postage. Can't wait to get it on the gun and see what happens. Fancied a mill dot for a while not and with the nights drawing in and me doing a lot more with the lamp im sure the illuminated crosshairs will be a big help. http://www.jsramsbottom.com/cgi-bin/jsr.cgi/dynamiclink?qr=acce&qk=c0fe991d22a46facf58d80a367c28950&a=37987&b=0&z=2079116893&aP=0&source=/SM/SM_jsr.HTM Anyone else have this scope? would be interesting to know what you think. Paddy

  23. Has anyone delt with J S Ramsbottom. Ive seen a JSR / Leapers 3 - 9 x 40 Pro Illuminated Riflescope [30/30 Reticule) 1" Tube for £20. If they are good to deal with think ill get it. Paddy
  24. The general licence is more of a conditions for shooting birds it's not a licence that you apply for like fac. Look it up. But it states things like to shoot pigeons they must be causeing damage to crops. You can shoot any animal that is classed as a pest and that is legal airgun quarry with a air gun, obviously mr fox and long ears are out of the question so are pheasants, partridge and so on. But main ones you can shoot are pigeons; crows, magpies, jays, collard dove, rabbit, rat. I suggest you have a good read of it and even print a copy off for such reasons as some bizzy body phones pol
