Went for a wander up woods tonight, saw a fresh rabbit hole and 'set' in the enterance to it was this: It was nearly touching floor made from blue rope haha Think its this lad who asked me to teach him how to set snares, proper nob so no way am i showing him TW*TS Wonder what it makes the public think when hey see things like this, dont think it was there long there was fresh footprints at the spot, i might have got it befor anyone saw it. They can be quite tough little f**kers, let my two loose on some rats under the shed. too a little hammer but no chance rats were leaveing alive. I get foxes scent on warrens sometimes if hes passed by.

Back of head shot! The bird couldn't fly, had a broken wing So was the right thing to do really Fox would only have got it

Put it up off pond asin make it fly away, though something was up because it didn't get up when i walked past it

Went dowm lincon with keeper today feeding, took air rifle and had a wander around with it near ponds, came across a mallard on bank of pond, tried to put it up but wouldnt move, so shot it and turned out its had been winged saturday. Walking around woods found a few muchrooms and grabed some turnip too, so thats tomorros tea sorted Paddy
