    I’m sure the ones I had at old house used to moan about the grass being too long, an stand on the fence till k cut it for them, an as soon as I’d do the first strip they would be down searching for worms haha clever little things, always wonder tho why some animals will happily live next to or even exploit folk but others stay well clear

    Farm I live on don’t have as many blackies as the estate I lived on previous, but a fair few thrushes about but they nowhere near as friendly an don’t hang about much, was told that blackbird an robins have the roundest eyes of all the songbirds that’s why they sing first in the morning, I like to think it’s just them waking folk up to cut the grass or work in gardens an get them some food in process haha

    I grew up with an ole twitcher as a neighbour an he saw me on a rocky road to say the least haha so started paying me a fiver for a mornings mooch, said he was scared of a fall an this was pre mobile phone days, after few mornings I didn’t take the money anymore, I was hooked, he bought me some decent Bino’s and then gifted me his spotting scope a while after when he upgraded, amazingly last heard he was still alive living in cwmavon port talbot, I owe him lot he opened my eyes to the counties side properly cos until then I was just on a killing spree to appreciate things as mad as that sounds

    Other than hunting with hound in America, the only thing that tempts me to travel is to see diff birds, I wouldn’t appreciate most foreign places cos I’d constantly be looking in bushes an parks an stuff for the birds haha

    Iv had a robin an hen blacky on my hand in past, robin used to follow is everywhere, if you sat down it would sit on your foot, but rarely come onto the hand, an usually only when there myself. Got some pics somewhere, an the female black had a nest right outside my bait room door an wouldn’t move even when you touched her an looked under her, used to come off nest tk hand like a little hawk haha usws to feed her brandling haha I’ll sort one these little wrens out,m

    It makes them nice an soft haha I don’t think it’s harmful to us, just not good for certain materials, a lot my work an hunting gear is that synthetic stuff, poly I think an then obviously goretex an stuff I think it ruins em, had some pricey kaiwaka gear, and I swear fabric conditioner ruined it, got new ones an never used it an lasted yonks now, I can’t imagine washing powder or conditioner is any good for us is grand scheme a things, I wouldn’t snort it or eat it haha but I ain’t going down river beating me gear on the rocks like some jigaboo mamma haha

    Real bad thst conditioner for a lot stuff I’m told, anything with logo or that on, anything like the seeland gear an that I wear for work, I was goin through loads clothes an work jumpers till I stopped using it, still use it on me pj’s an towels bedding an stuff haha could be a lot shite but I stopped using it when I was told
