  12. as i hunt for the love of it ,it would have to be a pup as i believe if someone has a dog that's made the grade why sell it ?just my opinion but i think seeing a dog get its first rabbit is all the better and all the stress and months of training was all worth it . but the world would be a funny place if everyone thought the same . yours in sport chink

  17. this sounds good to me as i bought 2 collars that are too big for the transmitters and didnt fancy scrapping the plastic to suit the collars
  18. warrens newest member to his rabbiting team,at 5 months i was surprised how intelligent this dog was not seeing it for a month or so . its obedience and retrieving was as good as any adult dog iv seen :thumbs:i have to say this pic does this poor dog absolutely no justice as my camera has just f...ed up
  19. 1.if i put it on any tighter the ferrets head would of come off not just the collar. 2.the reading of 5ft happend to be 3 1/2 ft (there is a god )3. never had this sort of trouble with the mk 1 , and 4.maybe it was part my fault for not being perfect but when you pay nearly £200 for a new model i expect it to be better than the old one .
  20. yes another satisfied customer (NOT) after shelling out just short of 200 quid for a box and 2 collars, everything was going well 1 set 3 bunnies 2nd set then it all started to go downhill the rabbits started bolting 2 at a time 1 in the net the other escaped 3 times this happened in the same set, then another 4 rabbits later my little jill showed her face so i boxed her up as the rain started heavy my hob was still underground i picked a positive reading at 5ft under the base of an old oak tree 25 minutes later i finally broke though to a collar no ferret attached by this time i was cold, wet
  21. i have just bought two leather collars and cant get them through the slits on the transmitter did you have to modify yours to make it fit ?..........y.i.s chink
  22. just reading about the Durham dales with chipper brought back some memorable days hunting coney with a very good dog called bob (star of the rabbiting mam 1)and the man himself, about 8-9 years ago we covered most of the same ground of the dales as this post ,putting the fear of god in the lucky rabbits that managed to escape the jaws of bob i managed to soak up a fraction of this mans knowledge to put me on the right road to hunting coney.yours in sport chink
