Yes it would, but many people still choose to continue smoking and possibly harming their kids. I agree it does, but that doesn't excuse smoking IMO and shouldn't be part of the debate as it's a completely different matter.

So how many people drink drive after a couple of drinks, how many people beat up their wife after a drink? Wait until you have kids of your own, you will be well within 50 yards I assure you. When you do hold your baby, just think about all those wonderful poisons it will be inhaling when you are cuddling it. Ban the horrible thing!

Oh I do understand what you're saying and what you're saying is complete rubbish. Passive smoking is the direct result of the substance, the impacts of alcohol are due to human behaviour. Wether you smoke away from children or not, the poisons still stay on your clothes. It is a disgusting habit, end of.

Exactly, how was drinking ten cans in a field harmful to any others. We both know the indirect effects of smoking and alcohol are completely different but if you want to keep arguing the toss that's fine.. ?

Stats also suggest that a lot of folk indirectly killed by drink aren't fully aware of the Green Cross Code and are after trouble when they are killed in violence. ?

Is it, what makes you say that? The stats say that passive smoking kills almost the same amount of people as alcohol does in the UK.

I drank a crate in an empty field all on my own, how did that do more harm than smoking ten roll ups? You know that the reactions from drinking and the effects of passive smoking are completely different even if you won't admit it.

Just look at alcohol related deaths compared to smoking related deaths in the UK, it's not even close mate.

Smokers can butter it up however they like and cry about other vices but the facts are it is a horrible, horrible habit.

No it's not the same, not even close mate. I drank 8 cans of Stella last weekend at home, that didn't harm my kids, it only harmed my wife after I knocked the fcuk out of her. You get my point though, it isn't the same.

No it's not, it's about banning fools from a foolish habit that is not only damaging to themselves but damaging to others. You talk about control regarding the vaccine and such, well those in charge don't need to coerce smokers, the puddings are paying for it themselves. ?

It is not the same thing though is it, that's human behaviour and not the substance itself. It doesn't matter wether you smoke moderately or in excess, passive smoking is still damaging to other people. Ban it!

Do they harm other people like smoking does, no they don't. Passive smoking and smoke on clothes can cause ailments in children and other people, ban it.
