  2. Well Pipey we have assertained your brothers mate has a terrier but you have made a huge number of "strange" posts in a short time, any wonder people are twitchy So far no posts on actual hunting, if you are just after info i'll be the first to say sorry..........
  3. Well, you could stop the "strange" questions for one. We have reason to be paraniod, we participate in a hobby that attracts critisism from the "wrong type"
  4. Rattus Pipeyus, some strange questions Pipey...very strange.
  5. Usually see him around Newark area. Maybe in another lifetime Chris, I like my comforts too much
  6. Yeah i've got that, love the bare knuckle fight in the barn
  7. Where I work an old fella with a scewbald mare camps at the roadside every year. Camps there for 3/4 days and moves on, sits around an open fire drinking tea. Thats my idea of the old romantic gypsy, the closest I ever get to it is taking the caravan away to a quiet site, sitting outside in a summers evening with the dogs relaxing. As chalkie says though as romantic as it sounds, the thought of finding water, food, grazing for the horse before you relax is hard work when there are so many "modern" alternatives.........
  8. Not enough room for racing. Usually a couple of good stalls and its in the pub grounds..........
  9. As JDF syas, plenty of reviews on here if you search. Definately one of my top five fieldsport books

    Barking

Your having a laugh, he'd be off the site by the end of the day I love dogs but the last thing I want to hear on holiday is a dog barking. Everything in moderation Our dogs come with us in the caravan and I have a bark inhibitor, yes they do work, have a look on the dogtra website, very reasonable, don't get the citrus collars, get electric. Its all about perception, electric is quick where as the citrus is sprayed intoi the dogs primary organ (nose) and stings....which is worse?

A forum is made by its members so if you want to improve it there is one thing to do...contribute with threads and posts that are interesting rather than the throw the toys from the pram approac

    WEATHER?

A lot of our fields have been under water, I've seen a few fox cubs wandering around in the middle of the day, I wonder how many earths have been flooded? Bordering fileds we go on in a stream bank is a huge earth, the fields are still covered in standing water so no doubt anything in that earth would be gone Your right Joono about leverets and fawns, they are exposed at the best of times..............
