    I know there's still a few about but the lads I know with em wouldn't use em over a running dog they keep the circles tight and there's the divvys that you wouldn't let use a dog the types that would throw a black lab over a greyhound and even talk themselves into believing it's a bull x ?

    Giving long slips dogs seem to settle better than slipping close slips don't seem too giddy and fired up once they get a bend in id rather long slips. And don't believe everything you see on tinternet you only get to see the kills not all the misses ?

    I'd sooner have a dog with a splash of bull in From a couple generations ago than a bull x with fresh blood in that's not up to it. I need to get some straws off my old saluki bull grey dog before he croaks. Trev on here bred the father to it he was half x to saluki grey the best allrounder I've ever seen then he got put to a saluki x and every pup out of the first and second litter to the same dam made the grade taking everything in front of them. Sadly there's only my big dog and a bitch out of the repeat mating left.

    The mk2 is 2 piece but has a barrel band on the front of the forend. The mk3 is one piece with the barrel band around 2/3 forward toward the silencer end.

    I don't think I'd trust it with just the one stock screw in the forend especially at the action emd .

    I do love it i love it a lot got some qys to try tomorrow pushed just to 60 yard and amazed me how right she groups. But i just prefer the barrel band for peace of mind and no real way of fitting a sling for when I'm out with the dog on a night at the min.

    Not for me unless it's a young inexperienced dog to get some fur in its mouth then fair enough. Like tomo said it it's any average lurcher and after one for the pot could be the only chance the dog will get to even the odds out in deeper snow than a duating.

    I've only had it once an old import saluki I got gifted had a good 4 min course killed her hare then on the way back to us another lifted she had a grueller about 5 min killing that one I got to the bitch she found a puddle and laid in it started pissing blood after. she came right in the end but I always carry a mars bar and kids fruit shoot bottle with electrolytes in for them just in case they go jelly legged

    Looking to swap my mk1 s200t stock for a mk2 with barrel band or a mk3 one piece with barrel band stock is in fair condition I just feel a bit more confident with the barrel band and to be honest I won't ever adjust it as it fits spot on at normal height

    Well I've found a rifle I've been after for a long time the mk1 s200t in girly .177. I got her with a bad leak and a cylinder that seemed welded but eventually got into it changed exhaust valve seals and filler end whilst it was apart. Held air perfect no leaks so zeroed in at 35yard with Hades it took all of 3 shots to get it clover leafing. Then mr woodpigeon decided to land in a big sycamore tree gave it a touch of hold under as he was about 22/23 yard and squeezed the trigger smack not even a twitch stone dead. Finally happy with a rifle and won't be making the same mistake I did with my o
