    Regardless of common belief, a good Stafford will make a fine protector / guard and even man stopper, ive had them here since i was a young boy so have gotten to know them very well, very clever dogs once you realise how to get over there stubborness. they work well in packs also. ATB D

    When i found my bro dead, his dog was lay on top of him, mans best friend for sure. Shame only few of us repay the loyalty IMO. D The same dog looking dotingly into my sons eyes, loved this picture so much i had it drawn and titled devotion, its a few years old now but a young chavy lad and his uncles loyal Bull. priceless.

    Ive always steered clear of feeding pork as it can contain tapeworm and trichinella, both could cause possable illness even death depending on what stage it was ingested. Hense pork not being served rare for humans. I know of folks that do feed with great results, just not a risk im willing to take myself. ATB D

    I THINK THE DOGS LOOK GREAT AND WOULDNT WANT ANY EXTRA WEIGHT PERSONALLY, THEY HAVE GOOD MUSCLE DEFENITION (YOU WOULDNT GET THIS ON AN UNDER FED DOG. ) ITS ALL ABOUT KEEPIUNG THE MACHINE OILED NOW AND LIKE HAS BEEN SAID, ITS EASY TO BURN OUT BEFORE THE SHOW SO IMO I WOULD JUST ENJOY YOUR SEASON NOW AND BE LUCKY I LIKE THE CAMMO COLLAR ALSO, MUCH BETTER THAN THE PINK ONE ATB MATE, GREAT LOOKING DOGS, YOUR OBVIOUSLY DOING SOMTHING RIGHT D

    I agree and substitute with fruit veg, seaweed, eggs, fish,ACV, nettles etc, a dog in the wild would eat seasonal fruit as well the stomache contents of its kill. The links i have posted are basic pointers for the starter as IMHO people are damaging there dogs with piss poor diets, some of the THL posts of late are shocking. Im happy to write out a full diet sheet for anyone wanting it, when i have time i will update this thread and hopefully help others. A K9 stomache is much different to a human stomache. atb d

    Hello all, recently i have noticed an influx of dog men asking for Barf advise, IMO it needs a certain amount of research, nothing major but a poor Barf diet can be very costly in the long run, YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN!!     For me chook is high protein low fat, this is why IMO the wings are perfect for fat to bone ratio When the real work comes i feed red meat horse / venison high in natuiral creatine etc

    Would suit the dog better to feed the dry in a seperate meal as the two digest at different times and play havoc with the digestive sytem, a poor digestive sytem a poor everything YIS D

    Look forward to them mate We lost a very fit Saluki x a while ago for the whole night (took off after Bambi) anyhow when we picked her up the following day she looked like a bag of bones, good to make sure theres a nights or two's of fat over on dog, a very good point ATB D

    Why would you want weight on a dog? a well exercised dog thats on a good barf will look slim with good muscle defenition, i would be happy with that mate. I increase the the meat when working for obvious reasons, also i find chicken wings good to feed through the day as an extra as they are perfect meat to bone ratio with the fat for good measure.     An amasing wee dog, ive watched them in Schutzhund trials and they are full on dogs thats for sure. Bulldogman might be of use as i know hes in the working circles and hes always aproachable. Good luck with the search, im a massive Mali fan, IMO they show simular traits to Bull breeds in the tenacity / guttsy department and although i doubt many trainers / breeders will admit to it, there is a fare share of Bull blood running through some of the top strains.     Have to agree mate, these collars are awsome, i think your buying a peice of quality, some great designs also. These are the best ive seen in this range and i know Mick loves researching for old types etc. ATB D

    I also make my own dogs collars, some hand made leather (which i prefer and are made by real hands that i have at the end of my arms) And then the cheaper machined webbing collars I much rather see my dogs in Collars ive made myself and think Leather has more heritage and quality and theres so much more scope for a personal touch with the leather.     Interesting post Wilf, i think when tempers have settled, most decent Brits would accept a large proportion of needing immigrants, if they were on a one strike and your off scenario then they would never feel like one of us anyway as you would be incriminating them from the start and so the Human rights snowball grows and grows. But taking into account there lives are being greatly improved by coming to Britain in the first place it seems fair to me, justified by having a strict punishment sytsem for our Native criminals.
