i can honestly say i look up to no-one never have and never will, i grew up believing that everone is equal and has good and bad in them, this is also what i try to teach my kids.....do not idolise anyone , they have a good side and a bad side just like you, so take what you learn/know and put it to good use and youll do just fine lee

ok we all know that topgear took a hilux to the north pole but what most dont realise is that the same team of icelanders took landcruisers to the south pole, dont get me wrong subarus are fantastic CARS, they may indeed be 4wd but theres no way you can compair them to a landcruiser its a totally differant animal and each marque is designed for a differant application, i mean you wouldnt go street racing in a land cruiser or go offroading (rallying is not offroading in this case lets call rally gravel road racing) in a scoobie would you. my belief is that the hilux and landcruisers are the bes

you do right mate too make a complaint and make sure you get something done about it, don't let the feckers get away with it, you should make sure you don't leave your new one there again, arrange with the farmer to leave something less value. hope you get everything sorted out, and next time you see the cops again give them this id definately make a complaint as it resulted in you having to drive home with an unsecured rifle in your car and if youd been pulled you can garantey theyd find some way of nicking you and taking your gun, their b*stards mate treat them as such. just an idea f

spot on mate my hilux pickup had more clearance ( by 3"s) than my brothers disco and sj and my mates defender all 4 motors were standard apart from 31" tyres but in general all the motors wernt to far differant from each other lee

my brother and i (+a couple of others) used to use my wifes shogun as the main shooting motor because it had plenty of room, big windows, and on more than one occassion the roof proved strong enough to support two big lands sat on it whilst driving arround the fields, we tried my hilux pickup but that was to noisy and lacked a smooth enough ride, lastly we tried my brothers sj but that was way to small so the morel of this tail is go for shogun size/type and if your actually going to shoot from it like we did go for a petrol...deisels abit to noisy lee

just an idea - get a second hand tent from ebay mate youll get enough material for the job and youll also get a choise of materials depending on the tent itself lee

my brother has the carbine version and to be fair there not too bad at all hes taken out a few rabbits with it and a 25 yards he manages to get some good grouping parts are cheep and easy to get too makes for a good first rifle lee

i can tell it winter cos the other half opens more windows as it gets colder i get ice on the inside of me truck and have to get up half hour earlier just to sort it out and the boss decides nows the time for all the f**kin outside building and ground work has to be done then moans about how long its taking ............ and i cant fell me god dammed feet all day and none of me shooting buddies wanna go out cos "its too cold" ....... wimps however the moment we get even a couple of inches of snow everyones up and charging about like a bunch of flippin 2 year olds havin snowball fight

with .177 its possible to shot 70yards due to its flatter tradectory and being less suceptable to cross winds, i have achieved some reasonable results at this sort of distance with my AAs200, but thats on paper not a live target as i wouldnt rely on the penatration at that range doing its job, live quarrey i tend to stick to arround 30yards as i know where i stand at that range, with a .22 i would never entertain any live quarrey at more than 35 yards 40 at a push,and that would have to be in ideal conditions. the only airgun ive even managed to get a worthwhile result ( and some exception sho
