  1. Okay I really did try my hardest to just keep my mouth shut but after reading about the las 3 dozen of your posts with each of them being straight bullshit i couldn’t bite my tongue any more. Stick to hog hunting as you seem actually good at that. Every one of your posts on the APBT have been about as close as can get to being copied word for word out of the books on the breed. You just said six bits dogs were no good and I can name atleast 2 dozen that were 2xw or better into top competition. Also not who you are calling the top three kennels of the 80’s and 90’s but considering that two of t
  2. That’s all fine and dandy as everyone has opinions on things but the American pit bull terrier being an actual breed of dog would be what one would call a fact and in this one that has been agreed upon. So to say in your opinion it’s not a breed it’s a type is kinda like saying in you opinion the earth is flat when all evidence points to the contrary. I would even argue that it is one of the most well documented and possible accurate in terms of ancestry now obviously I’m not dumb enough to think that some of these good ole boys didn’t tell a few tales in few dogs pedigrees I actually know foe
  3. Nothing wrong with a good outcross but when looking at the top dogs of the breed line breeding and even inbreeding was what produced them. Dblgrch Tornado, Zebo, Happy jack, both Grch banjo and his sister bb red, chinaman, Nigerino. Lots more just don’t want to keep posting
  4. Mayfield wrote that so you can be sure it’s a lot of utter crap mixed with a little bit nonsense and a dash of not true. when it can to putting one in shape Don was definitely ahead of his time but the man never prose a single dog worth a damn.
  5. As far as I can tell it’s like you said can’t get something that wasn’t there to begin with. In genetics there’s a term I can think of it for the life of me but how it works is the dogs who became known for gameness so the bulldog the one used for bull baiting. Yes I know some people for whatever reason see why they needs to be game and weren’t where the APBT got gameness from that ridiculous to think that but I digress. So you would start out with dogs who say we’re very willing to engage with any animal the size didn’t bother them and then by choosing the dogs who had the highest degree of g
  6. I mean it’s not like a good amount of this stuff was written and documented or anything like that. And as for different types as you say i wouldn’t really say that’s accurate. These dogs were always bred for performance first right from the very beginning yes there are variations in structure but they all have a similar overall appearance. I’ve worked and bred these dogs for the last 17 years as did my father and grandfather and both used there dog for the purpose they were bred for. My grandfather was good friends with Tudor they both lived in Oklahoma up until my grandfather moved the family
  7. Mic drop you win. You guys have way to much good ole boy knowledge for me. Poodles are more my speed anyway. Good luck to all y’all furture endeavors God speed
  8. That is what i would say to once I realized that sometimes a common sense basic understanding of working dogs in general is all that’s needed occasionally for certain topics. It’s probably for best is imagine you was probably starting to get a small headache from to needing to think to much. Good Day sir
  9. Or Maybe I’m not an absolute moron and i have the ability general knowledge to know that working terriers to ground and matching dogs and which would require a more game individual. Plus the fact only one of the two dogs has been bred for the very specific traits to a much higher degree than other. It ain’t rocket science buddy. If that sort of of thing is to had on your old noggin that’s not my fault
  10. I honestly jut don’t care. And I never once made any claim as far as my knowledge of working terriers to ground goes. And my knowledge on that subject is really not that important for the argument I was making as anyone who is even moderately intelligent would be able to have the very basic understanding of the type of work for me to make my argument. And there is really not a reason to keep this conversation going as its not go anywhere. Peace be with you my friend
  11. Last thing i am going to say. Apparently yo didn’t really read the other post. Not even once did say a single thing about crossing them into the terrier or any other dog for that matter. I would not say something so completely ridiculous. The only topic I have posted about was based on the comments made by whoever it was saying that the APBT isn’t game and and isn’t supposed to be and then said working terriers are more game. All the other crap you’re on about is nothing that I have said
  12. Wow you have seriously issues dude getting this emotional about what someone who you don’t know from a whole in the wall and thinks is an ass. Really shouldn’t be that way It’s an argument about dogs are you kidding it’s not that serious
  13. I would love to know how saying that as a whole and on average the game bred bulldog is going to produce more dog that prove game than any other breed is talk crap about your culture. Time and time again guys on this forum have said that the terriers job usually isn’t getting into a scrap. So when one dog has been specifically bred for the last 200 or so years to engage in combat where the rules that are most often used are designed for the gamest out of the two I truly don’t understand how a person wouldn’t agree
  14. Considering I wasn’t the one who brought it up in the first and as far as getting into any kind of morality issue as far as mating dogs goes not going there. How this is even an argument is honestly crazy. Also if you are saying that a terrier who has been in the ground for three hours where it is pretty doubtful that they have been going at it with there quarry for that whole time or is actually the same thing as two quality fighting dogs who fought for three hours and let’s be realistic about this the way two bulldog fight is not the way a terrier and whatever there on are fighting. The for
  15. You just pulling my leg right just looking to get a ride out of people please tell that is what yo are doing. You can’t honestly believe the things you are saying. Please show me I’m literally begging you to show me a working terrier that has fought there quarry for as long as three hours please please please show that terrier. Because this is something that not was only done one time by one dog it has been done on a few different occasions. Now of course dogs who can do this are obvious not common and you are not going to find a representative of any other breed capable of showing this extrem
  16. See that is what some are have trouble. To the American pit bull terrier is not truly game is not only a completely ridiculous statement but there isn’t a person in the world who has even just the most basic understanding of what being game means that would ever make such a stupid comment. Especially since you have close to no experience with them at all. Digging to a couple crosses isn’t experience. I mean seriously you sound like a child. Not mention if starting with the very first bull an terrier crosses all the up to today the American pit bull terrier is as close you are going to get to t
  17. For most people getting a good dog now and then is plenty good to them. But there are people who want consistency in the dogs there working. It is very possible to get more than one good dog in a litter amd also be able to do so litter after litter. I understand that lots of people think talking a good worker to another good worker is the only way but breeding that way will end in disappointment more times than not. Is it really so hard to believe that choosing a good worker who from multiple generations of good worker and breeding that dog to a female who is also a good worker form generatio
  18. For someone who has seen that kind of deep gameness to believe you is going to require less talking and more working
  19. Spot on don’t know a thing lol. I do know a little bit though and definitely know enough from actually going out and putting in the work needed in order to actually know the difference between a dog who is game and a dog who looks to be a world beater a long as they are having there way but as soon as it start to get just little bit tough decide to pack it in. And based on the few post of yours I’ve seen you wouldn’t understand what I’m saying. I have no problem with yo or the other guy but when a person says what was said about dogs being game and were being serious about it as far as the wo
  20. It’s the superior base part that those who disagree are having a hard time with. I am in 100% agreement with you though. People seem to not understand that inbreeding like this isn’t something most can or should do. It requires someone who has been successfully breeding a line of dogs for quite a while and would mean that person would know the good and the bad traits within the line. Breeding a line long enough for the breeder to see the genetic defects that occur and do the necessary culling that is needed takes years and dedication. This is also done with any trait not desired by the breede
  21. Believe what you will it’s does mean a whole lot to me. A dog whose muzzle has been chewed straight off without a single noise made and when the dog had the choice to pack up and go home or continue the battle his decision was to continue. Giving up never even occurred to that dog. If you truly feel you’ve heard of or witnessed a dog as game as that little buckskin warrior I would have to respectfully say you live in a fantasy world. There is not one breed of dog that will show that degree of gameness in the percentage that these dogs do. There might be one maybe two if extremely lucky working
  22. I would also say the the hardest biting bulldogs weren’t the shaking type either. The ones that could break a dog down in 30 minutes or less from my experience were the ones who put there whole body into the bite and the other dog looked as if it had suffered very little damage as far as being cut up or a lot of bleeding. Those were the type of dogs that anything they put there mouth on was completely useless from that point on a lot of internal damage with very little external damage
