    I had a day out with dicko a few years back down at the david davies think we got a brace but never seen his dogs work didnt max win the welsh one year ? .i would of thought he would of least had a couple of workers the show pony

    he was a hard man but fare when it came to the night job he was a dog lad like us all but he didnt like the piss been took i can remember him and his old mate granville catching me and my mate with our airguns on his patch think i was only about 14 shit myself . he sorted me and my mates out with some usefull terriers over the years

    Another good one is otter hunting memoirs by rod adair hes the otter hunting man nows his stuff and micheal sagar he was doing a special offer last year at peterborough hunting festival 2 books for about 40 quid .they have just fetched another book out forgot its name now will find out .i am gonna pick it up at rydal i just wish i was born twenty years earlier

    Yes a good book very interesting loads of packs you never new about the other one to it A chain of bubbles . is a good one aswell lots of pics of hunt uniforms i have heard of that other book but never read it, is it still available Not too sure its prob sold out try micheal sagar from the hounds mag he has a few otter hunting books for sale .ive just got a border counties otter hounds yearbook today very interesting read

    His that maddie in the second photo the bitch i have here will be her half sister yeh it is shes on the first pic to the one on the left,gwyn has her now the other dogs on the first pic are pups out of her and taffy,gwyn kept 3 back. Has gwyn done much with them how old are they about 3

    Thanks for the replys the two i have are show bred but turned out good workers i had them running with the terriers and lurchers from pups so they learnt a lot from them

    Had a couple of weimeramers over the years made good dogs out in in open fields .game crops .and beet . are the vizlas any different in working styles.temperament .has i am fancying another hpr trying something diff or should i stick to what i know .cheers wolfie

    spoke to jane and trevor at selby a few years ago i was telling trev about that letter bert sent you about the terriers he said he would of loved to have seen it so i took it the next day but i didnt manage to drop on him i was reading the letter the other day it would be good in some publication it would prob upsett a few people

    my shooting butty used to own one and it used to fire 70mm carts ok but used to jam quit often with 65mm carts. shootyscottys right when he said about knowing how to clean them propelly. My mate has one that has jammed a couple of times but no probs with heavy loads
