  1. I used a cardboard box............and stuck a target to it ???
  2. I miss read you initially post as, it was over priced, rather than, why are lapua even bothering ?
  3. @Stavross I can’t find it cheaper anywhere else.
  4. So I’ve tracked down this little lot to try out. SK Subsonic .22LR Hollow Point x50 £7.95 RWS Subsonic Hollow Point x50 £7.45 Norma Subsonic .22LR Lead Hollow x50 £5.30 Lapua Centre-X .22LR x50 £11.25 Those lapua’s better be good!!! ? although I may not bother with them, as I don’t think I would buy them if they one holded five rounds.
  5. Thanks @Deker I’ll have a look for those, it’s a long slog driving around getting ammo.
  6. Love them, good value as well. Using the stickers I put about 50+ rounds through the fist target.
  7. @Meece it’s so annoying, the place that sells the 38g eley is an hour away! Once I find the right ammo I’ll probably do the same and have it put on hold, as well as trying to up my allowance.
  8. @Sausagedog really enjoyed my afternoon, could do with more than my 200 round allowance ?
  9. @Stavross I like the cci’s, and the price.??
  10. Found myself with an afternoon free, so, decided that I needed to get some rounds though my cz .22lr at 50yards, take my time to go back over brands I’d pied off. This will be photo heavy, so apologise. My office, and the ammo, so first up was the cci’s, 3 groups of five rounds, eley 38g white box Winchester’s Eley 40g green box, ignore the far left group 5 shot group of just eley 38g top and cci’s middle binned off the Winchester’s 2nd picture is the eley 40g both eley’s ou
  11. I’ve ordered the rimfire magic spring and tube kit £15 posted. @Longshanx yes the rifles only a few week old, but when looking at rifles the trigger was the only bit that was a minor negative, and a very minor one. It not terrible, there’s a some creep I’d like to eliminate and while I’m there a lighter spring is a bonus. I can’t leave anything alone for long, I do promise myself that I’m not going to spend money on personalising everything but I can’t help myself ?? Thanks @PLEDGEY for the video, I could listen to his midland tones all day ? and for everyone’s advice. ??
  12. ? although I’m not a complete idiot, I’m not sure I’m comfortable with that level of work as an amateur. Is it something that can be sent off and polished or does the rifle have to be complete to to do the work?
  13. Fair play, and even though a spring is just a spring, I think I’d want one that been used 1000’s of times for the same purpose. And for £15 posted (I called them up and they’re having issues with their website) I will feel a little more comfortable. Cheers anyway ????
  14. @Rimfireboy! thanks, I’ve just had a look, the kit is £13 and shipping is £25! For three springs ??
  15. I'm looking for a trigger kit for my cz455, any one have any advice? Cheers
  16. They have won once, they know they can make an impact now. This is how it will be, and the bigger fuss that’s made, the more uneducated (in shooting terms) will join them. Slippery slope? If NE had taken the time to do this properly and shut them down. No one on the outside would have known any difference. But by NE acting the way they did every Scott’s women with a pet crow is involved now, and on “their” side.
  17. Well that’s the problem, they’re not meant to use their hand, was he wearing pvc by any chance?
  18. You’ve had 7” inside your case ?
  19. ??? you can’t shoot stuff! And cook it! You crazy fool! ?
  20. Posted a link in the wrong place, couldn’t work out how to delete it. ??
  21. I get what they’re saying, to a point. But, the majority of people shooting birds on the list do so with a reason, I shoot the crows in my garden and the field behind me that I have permission on because they’re a f***ing menace and since I have they stay well clear of my garden, and as a result the amount of song birds I have nesting in my garden is amazing. My neighbors garden on the other hand is swamped by crows and no song birds. If I was shooting birds for the just to shoot something I’d be hitting the robins too. The first crow I see in the garden hassling the nesting birds
