  1. Cracking shot mate , nothing wrong with tits Kay
  2. Hi bud , £20 - £35 is the going rate for most RFD transfers .
  3. As above, with a good mod on it you wouldnt hear the rifle at 30 yards.
  4. Just get a shooting mag or paper and take it in with you , read it on break times . I am sure the conversation will soon come up .
  5. Nice shooting bud and i would rather do what you did with that springer any day than what i have done with a pcp.
  6. Before you all jump down my neck with the bullsh.t whistles i didnt say they were all shot in the daytime , we did lamp most of them and most were shot in the first 5 weeks. Yes they were very thick and the numbers were there to start with . The last 3 weeks we worked bloody hard to get the remainder of what we had. Markha and Ideation , you only gave the bullsh.t whistle because as you said you have never had that many rabbits in one location so you cant possibly beleive its possible. Like i said in another post , that was pest control but i prefer the odd rabbit that was stalked and well wo
  7. Totally dissagre with you bud, I shot on a ground a while back that had been shot on and ferreted for years. Between 2 of us we had over 2,500 rabbits in 2 months all shot with air rifle. I am lucky to get 5 in an evening now. So i would say pest control is done regular by many with air rifles who care to put the time in. I love an evening out even if i dont shoot anything all the same.
  8. Hi Marty , can you pm me a price for these . Cracking bit of kit . Cheers Eddie.
  9. I can get bags like this through out the year doing pest control chimp but it does nothing to make me feel better than anyone els. This picture shows half of what we usually get but i would rather stalk half a dozen on a nice day and get a mixed bag than do this every week. Everyone to their own bud but try not to knock what others like.
  10. Here is one crow i shot a while back . underneath was alot lighter. http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu276/eddiej35/maggiecrow-1.jpg
  11. Thanks Kay , the duck is a Mandarin. Beautiful ducks they are and i just wish i had a good camera to show how true the colours are on them .
  12. Decided to have a go and see what this little camera can do. Not as expert as Kay and you other top photographers but for a mere amature it will do.
  13. 1st thing , did you pull the bolt back before screwing the bottle on , if you did then if the air is still dumping through the barrel it will probably be a valve oring gone . If your not a member already join us here at www.rapid7owners.com and get your orings from davestonecold . He posts them very quickly and you will be able to do a full service yourself in about 30 minutes. ATB Eddie.
  14. They have moved in their now, the machines should be up and running.
  15. Have you used this filter on a Tiablo or orther LED based torch? I ask because the physics dont work out for the led unit in the P7, it uses an LED from Philips and the peak output or 100% is around 420nm, so in the visible IR range, however when you look at the graph it drops very sharply to less than 17% at 740nm, still just visible IR, but once you get to 750nm and above the output drops to less than 5%, So how can an 850nm true IR filter be any good on a torch with less than 10 lumens of power at that wavelength? Am I missing something? Your guess is as good as mine, i did a s
  16. The ir on the unit is good enough for ratting , the n1000 lasers are the units most are using with the challenger .
  17. The P7 and the lighter T7 with the filters are great for 70 yards without any fuss. Ratting with the low setting is no probs either..
  18. hi bud, this filter is for the tiablo torches so should work with the P7 as they use similar internals. http://www.inovatech.co.uk/shop/product.php?productid=63
  19. The new daystate pellets come from one die , so there should be no variation in pellets at all . Theres nothing worse than looking on tins or boxes to make sure the die`s used are the same as the usual ones you use.
