  1. As I was there helping with the shooting and gutting of those, i cant recall I noticed any signs of mixy on any, they were all perfectly healthy looking. The land we took these from is very productive land and a loss of a number like this really is only a couple of percent of the true population, we'd probably be able to repeat this several times a month and still leave plenty to go at the next season. As Ian said, he has a LOT of permission with a lot of pests that the landowners want gone, be it rats, rabbits, foxes and corvids etc. I have a couple of tiny plots in comparison and
  2. I had a feeling they'd be different fitting... damn n blast. Anyway, they were in the post yesterday Jimmy so should land soon.
  3. How's £20 the set sound? You're welcome to pop round and check the fit first if you want to, just incase the dovetail for the fore sight is different.
  4. I have a set of HW99s sights if those are of use to you?
  5. I used to own one but it was stupidly swapped for a worn out mk1 HW100, regretted that deal for a long time, now I'm the owner of a FX Cyclone and wont part with it. Similar to some degree but has a biathlon cocking handle.
  6. Thanks for the glowing feedback Jeff! The rifle is in exceptionally good condition and has been very well looked after. Testament to its previous owner. The action was a little dry and a few bit of dust and grit had entered the cocking slot, this is common but once cleaned out and the parts lightly lubricated it often makes a massive difference such as in this example. The brass part was left in place as it was in perfect order but I have changed others in the past due to damage and wear. The action on this is very similar to the Webley Raider only in that the breech block
  7. I have been using one of these an think it's a fantastic piece of kit, this really opens your eyes to what you're missing in the field, last night I scanned a small field with my N/V setup and could only spot 3 rabbits due to the eye shine, with the Quantum lite I was able to see around 12 rabbits along the edge of the field that were looking away, not only that but I've been able to observe a pair of cub foxes out playing in the adjacent farmers fields at around 300 yards. I particularly like the black hot mode and the 7 colour pallete, it can make a real difference being able to change the
  8. I'm not sure if this is allowed but I can carry out the work you require, I own my own airguns repair business and am very local to you. If you'd like to chat about it leave me a PM or contact me via my web page. www.customairguns.co.uk Admin/mods, if this type of post is not allowed please let me know.
  9. Some really nice kit you guys have, I'll have to get some photo's taken of my current kit. CZ 452 .22LR fitted with Lightstream FFP scope and reflex mod. CZ453 Premium .22LR with a cheap Hawke Subsonic ret scope and A-tec mod. Remington 700 Tactical .223 in a GRS Beserk stock fitted with a Sportac mod and a Sightron S-tac scope. Also too many airguns to mention...
  10. Hi, just thought I'd join up and make my self known. I'm from Hartlepool in the north of England, I've been country orientated all my life with shooting and fishing playing a big part of my time since I was a young lad. Like a lot of you I'm sure, I've had a few breaks away from shooting but for the last 10 to 12 years it's been pretty much my main passion and time killer, I've tried everything from 6m target air pistol to .308c/f the rifle shooting and loved every minute of it. My latest adventures have have mainly featured around pest control work for local farmers, taking rabbits, pigeon,
