  1. I've no idea mate , I called in for the first time whilst I was passing and asked the guy if they do air refills, he told me that it was £2 , now I don't know if that was for just the gun cylinder or a 3,4 ,7 or 12 dive bottle, there's always Robin Hood water sports at birstall, I might be wrong but according to their website they do refills on dive bottles, not too sure on cost though so maybe the cost might be on website hope this helps pal regards Steve
  2. Thanks very much for the info mate, there's a Rfd quite local to me (swillington shooting supplies) who do a cylinder recharge for two quid so I'll give it a go? Cheers Steve
  3. Afternoon chaps i,m looking for a bit of help and advice from you more knowledgeable folk please. Yesterday using the stirrup pump I recharged my gun to just under 200bar, this morning I got the gun out for a bit of pellet testing and noticed that the pressure had dropped to almost zero !?. I removed the cylinder and put in some more air (around about 70 bar) then disconnected the pump and straight away i could hear the air escaping from the fill port, even with the dust plug in place it was still losing air quickly. I did a search on several forums and one piece of advice
  4. Well as some of you may know I recently became the proud owner of a pre owned mint condition Hw100s in 177 flavour, Mitch (villaman) kindly sent me some AA express to try out , Jimmy (bigmac) also did the same but JSB heavies along with the loan of his single load mag?. I had been planning to visit a range quite local to give the gun a good try out and also test out the pellets but for one reason or another i haven't been able to get down, however, i did manage to do some practice today while the Mrs took the grandkids out for the day. I nipped down to the local RFD and picked up a p
  5. Hi Mitch I,m planning on spending a day at the range tomorrow ?. I was hoping to get down there on Monday or Tuesday but unfortunately things didn't go as planned. I shall post some pics up of the results and also a bit of a write up . atb Steve
  6. Jimmy they look stunning, so is Matts ? I shall give you a shout when I pluck up courage to do it and pick your brains. Thanks for the info atb Steve
  7. Thanks Mitch, you learn something new every day ?
  8. Lads thankyou all for the kind comments, advice and generous offers , it's nice to know that there are still good people out there willing to help a relative newcomer and it's very much appreciated. Secreagentmole thanks for the links on the pump and bipod, that's something else to add to my wish list, the pellets you mentioned certainly aren't the best in the world so won't be using them, if anyone wants them for a bit of back garden plinking then you're welcome to them. Jimmy you can rest assured your single mag tray will be returned and again many thanks for the kind offer, y
  9. Jimmy that's very generous of you , Thankyou And at the risk of sounding a bit thick I haven't a clue what a single shot loading tray is or even what it looks like lol.I shall google it and try to educate myself a bit. atb
  10. Jimmy yes a dive bottle is next on the list, I charged it with the pump yesterday and almost had to go have a lie down lol . At the moment me and a mate are trying to secure some permission (easier said than done) so I will be using it for both hunting and target shooting as I'm hoping to join a club shortly. I've been looking on YouTube and also reading through some lads threads and am very impressed with how accurate these rifles can be so I'll be getting plenty of practice in. Atb
  11. Villaman Again Thankyou very much also for the kind offer i will pm you my address . Yes I'm hoping to get out over the next couple of days and do as you suggest atb Steve
  12. Mac Thankyou very much for the kind offer, I would certainly appreciate a few to try out if that's ok!. I take it there's an obvious difference between the jsb heavies and the jsb exacts ?. I had read that these guns can be a bit pellet fussy so would like to use the best and most suitable. I will pm you mac and thanks again atb Steve
  13. Hi Mate Yes mate I know the hw100 is very ,very highly rated and it was on the very top of my wish list but I honestly thought it would be way out of my budget considering i would also need a scope, pump and gunbag .You can't imagine how quick I moved when I saw what was included in the sale and the price he was asking so as soon as I saw the ad I was straight round ( I actually gave £50 less than the asking price)!. pictured below are the pellets which were included in the sale, i have only used the H and N pellets so far so can't really offer an opinion on the others as yet.
  14. Afternoon lads First post over on this side of the forum so here goes, it's been a long while since I last owned an air rifle, 1978 to be exact and it was a lovely brand new bsa airsporter .22 calibre bought new from Linley Bros in Leeds (which has now sadly gone out of business ). Now almost 40 years on and having recently retired i have ,for the past couple of months or so , been seriously looking around for another air rifle, i did a good bit of research on the different types, models ,and manufacturers available and decided to go down the second hand route and keep a lookout f
  15. Hi mate My pup is also 22 weeks old, last week I picked up a couple of 9 week old kits and just let her have a sniff round while i held them till I was sure she was ok with them and let them drink from the same bowl, now they chase each other and play fight and are fine with each other, I'm sure they'll be ok together, Atb
  16. Hi lads I'm after some good quality purse nets, is there anyone in the West Yorkshire area make them or know of anyone who does, don't mind traveling a bit further afield to collect. Any help or info is much appreciated. Atb Steve
  17. I've given up on this outfit, the last 3 times I've been they only had minced chicken in the 3lb blocks, no minced lamb, no minced beef, no minced pork and no lamb ribs, the 3 packs I did get were all underweight! Spent a grand total of £3.20, waste of time going even though it's only 4 miles away. Any other decent raw food suppliers in the Yorkshire area? Cheers
  18. Almost 15 weeks, really pleased how she's coming on.
