  3. Bit of Hazel or holly mate,, And bend it to fit in the cage These litle traps are cheap and easy to make, Sit down in your wood for a few hours and you can knock up quite alot. Ive only caught pidgeons in them and its all i use them for,, Sit one under a birdtable where the birds are eating the stuff falling of the table and you will pick up alot. Will test it for use on magpies when i have the time. sorry what i meant was how does the pigeon etc trip the trigger when it stands on it does the piece of wood in the notch not hold the weight?   5. Deffenetly NO!,, all natural made fibres have weak points in there make up and Flax is noted for weakness. Plus Flax made nets will deterioate sooner rather than later no matter how mutch you dry them after use! i will go for the nylon i think.

  9. dig a shallow hole in compost pop in a few spuds cover but so the potatoes are covered about an inch then when the shoot appears above the soil covor in more compost and keep repeating this process of covering you will have heaps of spuds from 3 or 4 spuds

  12. Its still legal to dig to your terrier in the UK if you've intended to bolt the fox to a gun, but if for some reason, is unable to. i mean not bolting to gun
  13. Lads in southern ireland they can still dig to foxes with dogs, he didnt put the pics up and some one might think it was some one from england wales or scotland. He doesnt want to upset the rules of this website.

  16. By Preventing serious respectful hunters from gaining permission and giving proper hunters around the country a bad reputation. Word spreads quickly from farm to farm saying they have poachers and they damaging this that and the other. And when the antis find that people are openly admitting to hunting illegally it only fuels their fire to ban all hunting, so in fact it effects us proper hunters alot! and could bring an end to the thing that we love the way this country is at the minute.

Buy some builders sand and put it around the entrance to the hole say a meter squared of sand then you will be able to see the tracks clearly and see whats occupying the holes. of course thats if you can distinguish between badger and fox tracks you beat me to it pal, i saw it on ray mears me too Great guy he is
  20. going out this sunday for the first time in a while. im going to a new piece of land my girls dad knows and it is where he used to ferret when he had ferrets maybe i can convince him to get some more. but i dont mind taking a few rabbits from there as i wont go their again for a few months until he invies me out again. and apperently the place is teaming with them, lets hope
