  1. Thanks everybody, she had a good stint and showed me a lot of game. Was 10-11 years old and died right in her box looks like sleeping. Take care Stunt.
  2. Guys in the UK- Just a warning. In the States we have coyote comps and big money$$$$ for the heaviest coyote brought in. In one, 1st place is 10,000 U.S. ! Thats a lot of cash. Anyway men started catching coyotes caging them, worming and pouring the food to them. So just a heads up lads.
  3. Born in 2000 ,died in her sleep. A swell Den Terrier if there were any. Never let me down, had some holes but every dog does. STunt gwen
  4. Being from the States Scott what do you or how do you hunt that dog? A few on here from the states welcome.
  5. Micky -big country filled with coyotes and allot of places for them to hide.
  6. that is what i was thinking surly it dont take 5 dogs to kill one of them but ive never even seen one never mind seen one been killed. looks like some good hunting you have over the pond keep it up and have a good new year. We took 6 and caught one after the picture was taken, there was so many we had to look straight ahead when driving home lol Bull mastiff pretty much said it and saved me some typing, but ya thats pretty much it. In one of the pic you'll see a big grey and white shag. He's the perfect example of a dog hunted in that form will never catch one, but when he ge
  7. Not a great day my dogs looked horrible, got a flat , broke the 4WD in the truck but we manged to take 6 coyotes. First race we ran a Hot Blood, {track Dog} broke her two toes.New dog made up some ground and by the middle of the day looked a little better.
  8. Rock-Above with Stags and or hounds. The terier is for the ones that run to ground and I'll dig then but hoping for a bolt so we can keep hunting with the big dogs.
  9. Men very very rare that one Stag can catch and dispatch. Dont let anyone tell you other wise. There are allot fast stags that can catch or catch up lol but are out gunned when it comes to closing the deal. As many as there are fast ones there are strong dogs that could kill a coyote but you'll never find out because the coyote will never be caught in a fair chase.Very hard to get that together in one package. Imo if you dropped 2-3 stags on one and they cant handle it.....time to get new ones. Rocky-We glass allot , drive miles and mile looking. Day time only. This is wide open country w
  10. Both, depends on the coyote. When we had 6 or more and the coyote was under 40lbs it was no problem.
  11. reggie-both 3/4 patterdale 1/4 apbt. Both dogs unrealated.
  12. Rut-75-80lbs I think Stroller- It can be a problem but not if the time is put in with them. There bred to run/catch and dispatch 25-35lbs coyotes that are double tuff, other dogs dont stand a chance and owners that raise them like cattle, well theycan get themselfs jammed up.
  13. Rocky-That is the #1 concern of anyone with foxhounds or big game hounds here in the States. USA holds the White tailed Deer like India is with the cow. If it wasnt so sad it be gay sorry to say[isnt that a song?} Anyway if your hunting over here with anyhound its got to be deer broke or "BENT" as we say. Get your self an E-collar and take young pups for walks and put them into the deer, correct them with the collar and repeat often. Also putting them on the proper quarry so as they know its ok to chase. Good luck and dont give up it dosnt happen over night.
  14. Went out with Uphill and caught two with Hoss, Lazer and T. 1st one was a nice long race with the second being a big coyote.-> Stunt.
  15. I picked up a new terrier yesterday and another a month back. These will be used for badger and fox and some coyotes that go to ground in front of the Staghounds or Coyotehounds. I have an red dog that is 19lbs and just not enough for a coyote in a tube.
  16. Tore the feet off the staghounds the other day, so they will be laid up a week to 10 days so its just running the foxhounds and terriers if the weather dosnt get to bad.

  17. Shostopper in the looks department but sucked as a hunting dog. As he got older turned into a dog fighter. Hancock bred .
  18. Stroller after hitting that fence It gave that coyote enough of a lead to make the chisel plow. Its the same here defently try not to run on that stuff as the dogs feet get torn to bits>
  19. Had them for 20 years, Never reget a secong ...well mabey one Here is a pic of my 8 year old today. {Black dog on the throat.}
  20. Hell of a week so far went hunting Tues. day with M.C.Hammer and Capps ran a nice one caught him with Blackie, Brownie and Bull. Saw another and the dogs went right and the yote went left in a wash out. During the hunt we talked about calling yotes and slipping the Stags, how it would work, were and other stuff. By the time I got home it was late and after taking care of the dogs I could hear the coyotes behind the house so I broke out the caller and started in. A minute later I had a set of eyes looking at me at around 50 yards. I had Grill the collie lurcher and sent him just for fun. He
