    Hello will do Hello the name is Paul, he has been about for 2 yers, NOT THE TERRIERMAN! so the Hunt name should not be used, could mislead people in thinking the Borders are worked on the Hunt and again if sold, that famous saying Hunt terriers, See, only takes a phone call, took me 2 minutes, Frank Spencer knows every one! So who is Paul? where did he come from? I am informed he does not work his terriers on the hunt, so where did the working info come from?     Well said, the huge decision is, do you want to take the chance adding Border to your fell blood, some borders do have cracking physiques and muscle etc, but I would rather breed fell to fell type than take the risk, learned from experience!

    With out sounding degrading, have you much experience in the terrier world? Have you worked terriers in various parts of the country or in various types of earths/setts? 12 to 13 lbs, most rabbits would batter, ok for cubbing! Come to think of it, there is a certain part of my anatomy below my waist that weighs more! Is Taffy from Scotland?

    3/4 BRED, I only have 1 that was given to me by a friend, yes given, and he is ok, works single handed, bit slow around the setts, but true enough What area are you? may arrange a day out to see your Borders in action, not a competition, wouldnt put your terrier in where I wouldnt put my own

    Hello All, especially Woody& Ozty! I do not have a chip on my shoulder, far from it. For your info I breed and work Fells, I do not show and havent done so for over 15 years, I am not against shows just some, not all, the exhibitors. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!     Well, my comments certainly ruffled a few feathers, Poacher, well done, couldnt have said it better my self. There is no problem with rabbiting or ratting, I do not rabbit my terriers because I do not want to encourage them to mark rabbit, I love ratting but do not have the opportunity, but again, good for pups but can cause problems around earths located near pheasent pens where rats are numerous.     Hello Wag, what is your IQ level? You seem to have misunderstood my comments, I do not show, I cetainly do not pay for pups at any cost as I have bred my own for a very long time and in the event I did require a true working bred pup I would get 1 for free of Frank Spencer, Frank doesnt show or talk s**t or need to buy. And in answer to your comments, yes I do average around 100 digs a year, not all with my terriers, but all will be with true terriermen and the digs will be with single handed working terriers, no sh** here or in my companions kennels, once identified as mediocre terriers they

    Take no notice of the previous reply, theres working and theres working. There are very few real working Borders, I know of 2 pure Border bitches, 1 is retired and the other still being worked (proper work) and has at least 4 seasons behind her. Her sire was a working Border (both KC) Both bitches belong to 2 different people, 1 in Wales and 1 up North, both people are friends of each other and have bred amongst them selves for many years and are quite knowledgable in the Border world.     Good luck, if you cannot afford the loactor, get a bar, for example a crow bar and use it as a delving rod, you can then sink holes to help aid your listening techniques, be careful though, dont want to hit your terrier!

    Game terriers on a rabbit! Borders are, or where, bred to work fox, Badger and otter, and it is still legal to work fox, try it, singlehanded, let us know how game your borders are, and if no good, shoot them, dont breed from them, good luck
