Nice looking type, my very 1st QUALITY terrier was bred out of a cowan bitch some 26 years ago (name Chino) still got my records!, lined to a terrier named Spider out of Goulds Simon, 1 side of this blood line is still in my terriers blood today. I know nothing about Cowans terriers and how or what they will work. Peiman, lives accross the water, southerner?

Viewed your web, good to see any breed of terier still be worked, you are very lucky being able to test your terriers on badger, the ultimate test. I note only 1 terrier in the photo, hopefuly your quarry was dug with 1 terrier, if so you have more principles than most so called terrier men over here. Wahts the ground like for digging? All is not lost, I have ben passed Franks number and wil be calling him today (when he gets up!) and hopefully change his mind an ask for his contributions, he can some times be a little to straight, but I suppose it is better to be straight as people know where they stand!

Nice dogs cracking set up. Nice kennels, are they in England? Must have some work on for that amount, makes me suspicious, dog breeder? As far as I am aware they are very rare, in fact extinct would be a proper answer, there are some similiar loking terriers about but they are not pure sillyhams. The ones you relate to in the North East, I think these were carried on over in Ireland and are still worked by only a couple of people. I can answer for Frank, Frank has now gone in to hiding, what he gets for trying to be a smart arse and sneaking on to my PC, see even I can tell lies! Not necessarily in this order: 1. Terriers come first (that is why so many terrier men are divorced) 2. He/She will respect them, protect them (never over taxing in their early stages), 3. Good cleanKennels, keep them super fit, feed them quality food 4. Give them plenty of opportunity to work 5. Never breed form them until proven, never breed from them to mass produce for profit (nothing wrong with earning money but the terrers lif
