  1. After spending the season with a hound pack on the terrier work I decided to take the plunge and mentioned to a few lads I was after a pup. In the end I chose a dog pup who was gifted me by a lad on here who was owed pick of a litter from Middleton sire to a black bitch. Cheers again John for sorting me out! Jock - 8 weeks

I'm looking forward to a walk at night with this shit whippet of yours John ;)

Come on joey. Did a not tell u boys she's away on holiday that week sorry she won't be around for u boys to laugh at

Haha that's alright then we can all roll round laughing at mine instead then!!

  3. King/Leethedog, should answer both questions - I welded an m20 capscrew into the bottom half of the shovel... Then made a threaded insert to go up inside the top half welding that in. Once together, drill through both threads and lock together with another small nut and bolt.. But as katchum says.. Next season will he the tester!

  4. Only ever used her for rabbits and big rabbits up until lately being honest..had her on hooves a bit lately screams like a banshee when on them she hunts them better than anything i've seen so far. She will hunt fox but wouldn't say she's good at it being honest, she hasn't done enough with them she's only just 12 months old but working well for me time will tell with her.

  5. Got a Cocker x Patt here bud she's going well now. Good skin and thick enough coat to avoid getting ruined in cover, she's a solid little dog. 9kg and about 13/14 inch at a guess. 1 bad point with her is she's small enough to go to ground even though i've discouraged her. she does drop occasionally. Nice little mutt to own and tireless, she'll work all day everyday and give you 110% until she's put back in the van!

How did you used to stop dogs hunting on after bambi if they ran it out of the beam?

    ATB JB

Always been illegal to run bambi in beam mate

Ok, When ya wearing a balaclava....how do you stop dogs hunting on after bambi when running it out the beam? ha.

same way you stop a dog running rabbits when its not in the beam you turn off and the dog comes back doesn't it?

Not to my knowledge, Rabbits 9 times out of 10 usually are down a hole once the dog's missed so he trots back. Never seen a fallow manage that trick yet !

what was your dog doing then mate? crashing through woods on it own like a manic chasing deer round on its own agenda?

haha something along those lines mate, hard to know when they're out of sight !
