  1. Make sure you follow the law out there if you decide to take to the field, them Cali Game wardens don't f**k around have whole SF units ?
  2. Depending on where your at in the use alot of house are raise up off the foundation a bit. Crawl space I think it's called . Not sure the reason though, but alot of house are like that and they seem to get higher the further south east in the country you get . I know my houses floors are 2-3' above the slab. You also have the whole porch ( some call it a deck) additions alot of people like as add ones to there mobile homes / houses, and they have a lot of save uned them and usee usually just covered with some vinyl siding And as you see theirs plant of room under those for somethin
  3. Well that was a bust, saw one rabbit but it was a good time, made some new freinds, talked some shit, shared some stories, life's good
  4. HELL YES! Depending on the state and what game warden got your ass you can loose your vehicle, your firearms ,your ability to legally hunt/ buy a license, get fined and get jail time, all before you get tried for trespassing which can lead to jail time all by itself
  5. Damn 007 what the hell you doing in that cesspool?!
  6. Everything depends on the state and even what part of the state your in. Like in that part of Texas ( most of Texas really) I've 95% of the land is privately owned and some of these ranches cove thousands of acres. Talk to guy work do control trapping on some of these places and they'll drive 80miles one way snaring one side of that Rance's fence. ONE. Just to give you an idea of the scale. Some of these places all of the huntable property is owned by these billionaires who ,unles your a close friend or you wanna pay $10,000-30,000 to shoot a deer your just shit outta luck. And what public gro
  7. As a great man once said Patience is virtually non existent.....or something like that ?
  8. A little bit of both really. That being said dogs usually don't catch them
  9. Looking like there not much chance of a rabbit today ? I've counted four bobcat toilets half a dozen sets of coyote tracks and a few sets of grey fox tracks. Where gonna come back later with the caller and see what we can do about that
  10. Can't get em to hold still right now but . And rabbits clean alot easier ??
  11. Buddy texted me last night @11p.m inviting me to come run some rabbit dogs with him and his friends, well work till three am got home and dug out my .410 ? never ran rabbit dogs so let's see what the day brings
  12. Video I did on one of my feeders you my find interesting
  13. Depends, we have a weird population of them. The big boars will roam a lot but for the most part you'll find pockets of them hear and there. Just not a tone o forage for them in these lines so when they find something like good hardwood bottoms or deer feeders they stack up on those. You can go on national forest land and run dogs for miles at multiple stops and not find a one then you drop on a small pocket and it's back to back . Make trapping them a pain I can tell you that. Especially when everyone else in the country can just set trap basically anywhere and catch a few in the fi
  14. Most of what I'm shooting at that distance are either crows or pigeons your right about the wind. 9/10 times I'll only shoot on a dead wind , possibly a tail wind but mostly no wind on anything past 100. That being said that little .22lr still has a good bit of energy out to 200 and the kill zone I found with with 50 odd ftlbs of energy is pretty good. But I only shoot birds at that distance if i shoot any game. Small game like rabbits and squirrel are just too friggin tough and too easy to stalk up with -75 yd of for me to really justify it. Maybe with something like a .17wsm but that thing
  15. I yeah that thrive in alot of this thick stuff we have down here. He live in the middle of the national forest and their so thick if there he's able to set hi fox pro in his drive way and call them up while sitting in his front porch ?. Apparently their pretty rare in other parts of the country dude to not alot of thick stuff and the coyotes
  16. With the prece of eggs now my big cuz from across the county said he can't afford any chickens going missing so he put on a stand with the ole .17hmr ?? got off the phone with him and said he had six come in on him and by the time he had reloaded he heard is call behind him and saw one trying to tote it off. Gonna try and go out with him soon and do some filming
  17. Well my little.22lr ammo testing videos are becoming a favorite on my YouTube so decided to do some more. Seems every where I go there's little 50rd boxes of various .22lr ammo for sale for less then $10 so why not. Anyhow was looking to see what folks might wanna see in some testing videos. I don't have any real high class .22lr rifles or high end optics or anything like that usually it's just my life set up here @25yd and ten round groups Was thinking about stretching the distance out more to maybe 45-50 after the 25yd group ooorrr mabye try and get some ballistic jelly made up
  18. 25-30 yd is honestly where most over here use a .22lr. I know many many people who think it's crazy to shoot past that....which I find odd because I routinely pest with mine out to 150-200yd.
  19. That statement always confuses me. Head phones , put your phone in your pocket, bluetooth it too your car and listen on your way to work ect. Listen to a little come back later.... Sitting in front of a computer isn't the only option . I mean it's the same as a book . If I gave you a 500page book you don't have to read it all in one sitting just read a little and book mark. I mean when I was listening to the gulag archipelago I'd just listen to a little bit while cooking or something ate a note of the time stamp when I got bored and I'd come back to it later when I felt like it
  20. Know poaching is a .. popular, for lack of a better word, subject over there. Figured some would enjoy this guy.
