Given the pups some meaty lamb bones this afternoon

There’s a bit of deerhound on the sires side there’s minshaw, Wheaton on the dams side

Pups will be 6 weeks on Sunday, slowly introducing them to going outside for food, play and toilet, going to be some big dogs amongst this litter aswell as the fawn bitch who’s a real unit, 7/8 pups spoken for with only the small boy left

My view is a lot of people can’t get on with a saluki and add to make them more workable/manageable

Haha if the big daft saluki cross doesn’t come and greet them when they arrive, I’m sorry but there’s a good chance that they won’t be staying long, let alone getting a chocolate biscuit ?

Thing is half the arse holes after pups will moan about the price if I had them done… this way they get a working dog with I’d say excellent breeding at a decent price, then they can choose whether or not to have it done, my job is to make sure all pups live and thrive up to 8 weeks old after that it’s down to the owners preference what they do with them

I’ll most probably be out of pocket myself, the bitch has had nothing but the best since she was mated, the pups will get the same, as said I didn’t feel entirely confident I could have easily hurt or killed the pups doing it myself, I could have had the vet out or someone else in but peoples time isn’t free this day in age, I can easily arrange for any pups dew claws to be taken off at a later stage through my vet

Tbh i debated whether to do them or not, as I seen it it would of cost me money to have them done as I’m not 100% confident with it being the first litter I bred, with that the price of the pups would have gone up a bit which in turn will make it harder to get rid of the surplus

Few more pics of the pups, they’re coming on grand all have been walking for around a week now, nails clipped and first go at some solid foods this week

Pups are 12 days old now, 1 bitch 2 bitch 3 dog 4 dog 5 dog 6 bitch 7 is 5 forward looking 8 bitch 9 bitch

Thanks fella the big dog of mine has now been retired not of his own choice but mine, he had 2 big injuries which I thought would have finished him, twice he’s gone through a fence ? He healed well and got him back running again for him to pull a muscle around the groin area ( I know the right name just can’t spell it ) chasing a fecking bunny, he can’t shake this one off…
