  3. He's a nice looking dog..is he off something you breed yourself?
  4. Unbelievable what he does with those minks. They listen real good and tough..
  5. Thought maybe you would of done some barn hunts in Ohio there pretty big on that. And they pull out alot. Like I said if your ever out my way hit me up. The winter barn hunts are a blast..and some of the barns we go into the kids make castle forts that will blow your mind..cool stuff.
  6. BG,you did a lot of coon hunting in Indiana and Ohio huh? They have some big coons and they seem to do a lot of barn clean outs in the winter. I love barn clean outs!
  7. I personally haven't ran into any minks but they are here just not a lot were I'm from..and the weather right now is hot!there is a guy from the states not sure we're from but he hunts with the minks..super cool stuff.you can see his videos on youtube. I believe it's called minkery..I like the look of the black dog, how old and how is he breed?
  8. I'm notrying saying anything about the size of there fox versus ours. I don't know about there's never been there but do know about what is over here. Our fox, ground hog sets are small and you need a spannable dog. Are there exceptions? Of course.bUT for the most part we need spannable dog for our terrain. Even a big coon will squeeze down a tight small hole. I have a lot of spots to go hunt if your around ILL, let me know you can show me different. And afterwards wife and I will tale you out for a good time..the reason why I started this post is because I see some folks have what they call p
  9. So what are you saying that they don't need to be spannable? You say I'm putting out misleading information, please tell me what misleading info I'm putting out..and if you disagree that they have to be spannable what are you hunting? Sure isn't ground hog or fox or coon. Unless it's above ground. Unless your in a weird spot were the holes are big.
  10. Here in the states they need to be Spannable if not there not going to ground. And most of the pit/staff cross's are to big to go to ground. I'm sure there are exceptions but that's it. And I don't care how much it wants it if it can't fit it can't fit..and also a 18 pound dog could still be spannable..
  11. A burglar would already know about the dog and would come prepared to stop the dog and get in..and if you had something good someone wanted and they didn't know about the dog when they show up they would leave and come back prepared..
  12. If your referring to me yes it does. And when I'm not home try coming in.and my dog rarely barks.when outside he dips behind my deck waiting for you to open the gate. And I know my dog will bite.and he won't take food. And if you try and. If you go up to him with food in your hand he will show you his teeth and if you don't back off he will bite..
  13. You guys are flipping this around..what I was saying was how do you guys know your dog will protect or guard if you never put it to the test? Sorry you dont. So You have a dog that barks or shows teeth and that makes him a guardian or protector? I don't think so..
  14. Treehands a little def? Like owner like dog..Lol..as far as your bat goes. We have cancel and carry so I'm thinking my Kimberly 45 and I would do pretty good against your bat..and why get upset about what I posted? Truth hurts?
  15. I agree a 70-80lb could wreck a man. But a dog that hasn't been trained to bite and deal with the stress the man is gonna put on him you don't know how he will respond. Your dog may bite my forearm and I slam him into a door and start to throw knees into his rib cage he very well my cur away..a good trained dog learns to deal with it and keep pushing forward..I train ring sport dogs and protection dogs and I been told by a lot of folks how tuff there dogs are then just shake my clatter stick and they put there tails between there legs. And unless you have a good strong bully bred or a killer,
  16. Dogfox, I'm thinking a dog trainer..that's what they do..what do you think police or milatary dogs are not tested?
  17. A lot of the pics of the dogs on here that are supposed to be tough don't look like it in any of the pics. And the dutchy is not big enough to stop a big man ready to throw down..how do you guys know how tough your dog is if you don't put heat on them? If you do then why not post pics of them biting a hiding sleeve do I get some type of man work?

I think it's very possible. Just depends on the dog. I've been dealing with the Mal for over 20 years now and they can do alot!
  19. Does anyone have any pics of there dogs protecting/guarding? Doing anything that shows they will bite or dking the work there intended for?
  20. Does anyone have videos or pics of there dogs doing any type of protection work or getting aggressive at someone coming in the yard or up to there car or doing any type of bite work?
  21. Can go any were you can go and some. Can't hide from a good rot. https://youtu.be/dTdNzym9MV8
