Here’s the montegu from the plain Sean .

Never seen one of them before, looks like a kestrel x feral Pigion ?

get to see all sorts of bop up my way cos it’s all moorland and wooded valleys, got to admit peregrine’s are my favourite but it’s not like I see them that often

  2. Wasn’t gonna move off the sofa today, ill as f last night.. shakin like a crackhead and pukin up!

by dinner time I felt tip top again so had a walk along the cliff tops… busy place aka the Cleveland way!

have to pick legstrechers wisely as these cliffs are rife with all sorts and dogs not crowd shy?

gonna be a cold night, cold dry wind and the grass is frostin up already… fcukin typical as it’s back to work tomorrow

A good write up Ian , I am tempted to get a thermal scope , but I am very happy with my Wraith , which is a step up from my old pulsar N970lrf . The one thing I like about Thermal scopes is that sometimes at range it can take time to find your target, particularly if it’s moving away and you haven’t got eye shine , with thermal it’s a lot quicker. I will definitely be getting one in the near future . I have used a pulsar Xp50 and it was awesome.

I’ve played with them all, my mate gets hold of all sorts of stuff… the best product pulsar make is the pro spotter but the pro scope isn’t as good, don’t know why but it’s not!

The top end hik's are good but senopex trump the lot..

They could reopen the coal mines, Start fracking, Reopen the capped well`s in the North Sea. as well as bring on green energy. Buying energy from other countries is full of risk as we are now seeing, as for food production. for the UK to be  self sufficient then the population would need to be around thirty million,

When I was a kid me dad use to be on testing oil/ gas Riggs around England on shore… use to have to stop all over spot in holidays!

There’s more than enough to tap straight in to without frackin.

because this green bullshit is just a way to milk us:(

Been testing a topsy turvey Valmet for a few days now.

I don't like 26" barrels or topsey turvey guns as a rule but wow, this one comes up spot on every time and follows through. I've taken pheasants, crows, pigeon and squirrels with it and not paid for it yet!IMG_20221227_151253.jpg.ced0cd07b025547d1138042a930fbc7b.jpg

    That’s all I use now sd…

    old 26” Miroku with fixed 1/4 1/4

good gun for roost shooting and using steel for the geese.
not missed my auto one bit and I certainly don’t miss scouring the fields for spent cartridges :(

  7. Went to gun shop to get some supply’s years back and lad wasn’t in, I was bustin for piss so drove down lane that ends next to a big dairy farm.. was draining off in a bush when this woman walked past so I apologised!

when I’d finished she was walk-in farm entrance… me being a cheeky fcuker I asked if she wanted the ferrels thinning out..

to which she replied.. call back 12 tomorrow as me husband will be about then.
called back next day and he was a proper frosty fcuker but after he realised I shot for a few blokes he knows he said yes… I’m first person he’s let shoot his land and over the years I’ve done loads of building work for them too :)

if you don’t ask you don’t get?

Nice scope fd.. save your money on the StrelokPro, just had a look and yours is not listed in presets?

you’ll have to go all 260rips and buy a kestrel but that’s a shitload more money and you need a phd to figure out how to use the fcukers?
