    I shoot and ferret up mitford way buddy alot of rabbits on the A1 embankment mostly airgun or rimmy job though. Most of the land up that way is mitford estates or further up cooksons . Yes me too i have mitford steads 'scott's farm' i was up last sunday? Is yours the same land Aye scotts farm canny bloke shot alot of rabbits down by the castle last year . Ferreted a few hedges aswell to be honest the bulk of the rabbits are on the back bit were the A1 runs good shooting in the summer .     To be honest B if we`d had the exra hands we would of netted up the whole sett long nets all around it and splitting it into smaller sections with purse nets dropped here and there . Starting at 1 end slowly flushing them down the warren . This is the way we do the other big setts and to be honest its not that bad setting up . Like you say big setts have hundreds of tunnels and lay ups and the older wiser rabbits know there way around them 2 lol. Its not my permission darryl its me mates

    Yesterday was hard work on the rabbits to be honest we needed more hands and eyes and ferrets on this stretch but we gave it a go and will be done on a later date. Started here doing it in sections 6 ferrets were entered and with these setts being vast and deep it took a while before we got any action. The ferrets were covering alot of ground in there pursuit of bugs but the little trojans that they are evetually stsarted to locate and get them bolting . The ground here has so many bloody holes in it that i don`t know how the ground has`nt collapsed . Well i

    Strong looking poleys mate a friend of mine has a similar size and coloured poley to them .He`s getting on now about 7-8 . Fair play to ya there spot on

    You`d rather sit around for hours christ its much quicker to locate dig and extract your ferret. What if your ferret was stuck and unable to move what then just twiddle your thumbs and hope for the best . Hell of alot easier using a locator mate saves time and if your ferrets on to rabbits you`ve got your game

    My poley jill got much better sight than her poley brother and the albino jill. Perserverance is the key just her second time out plenty of handling and take your time when she does come to the hole don`t rush to grab her . Clench your fist and show her the back of your hand this way if she does try to have a nip its harder for her bite time mate shes just young FV

    Awoke this morning to be pleasantly surprised jack frost had been out last night . First thoughts im going ferreting today . So after a cuppa and slice of toast i gets meself ready and awakens the stinkers lol. All 3 were were allready up as if to say what took you so fecking long . Handfull of nets ,spade ,bag, ferrets,and locater and collars and i was off. After a slowish walk up (leg still fecked) i arrived at the golf course and seen the head green keeper having a cuppa .
