    Don't know his background tbh jok, might be a game keepers son, might be a beater i am not sure. The app just pinpoints your location so you then make a report to the police. Its not going to stop anything but like i say he has taken a proactive approach. I don't think anyone has the answer really. But i do like the fact that there are people out there willing to try.

    i am an all rounder if you must know deer, pheasant, grouse, salmon, trout. My brother had a shoot until somebody broke into his pens and took them all. Hence why i am sticking up for the lad who wants to help where others are simply ripping the poor lad to pieces.     I am a lapua man but they don't do the brass for .300 win mag. They used to do factory ammo in .300 win mag but they have stopped that now. What are my options as i have just aquired a .300 win mag & i have always been lapua or nothing.

    MickyB you put me off camping when you forgot the waterproof top sheet when it was pissing down! Luckily i was tanked on super strength scrumpy cider! And the time before that you forgot the sleeping bags so me & air gun ant was freezing on the deck with no matt.     I don't mind poaching for a bit sport to beet the keeper or for the pot to feed a mans children. The thing is poaching has become a more commercial business where entire herds of deer are being targeted for the underground meat trade. This is what must be stopped and if the lad wants to invent something to help this very real problem then good on him.

    its called a "Subject Access Request" there is no fee for this but the police can charge no more then £10 for the service. freedom of information act. if they have anything about you they have to disclose it.

    I don't mean to give this thread mouth to mouth but going back to the original question. No it shouldn't but i would like to think that most new stalkers would do it. I personally think that the fee for a level 1 (£290) isn't expensive at all for a week long course. Or if you are so cocksure you know what you are preaching you can do one day for the assessments only & its little over £100 as i remember it. You also aquire your trained hunter number which is a legal requirement to sell the venison. It also teaches you what to look for & what is reportable with diseases such as

    Hi everyone, I don't do forums but several members of my family & friends or on here & have really bigged it up so here i am! I am by a deer stalker who shoots recreationaly most other things. I have a lovely but stupid Bavarian Mountain Hound. I am a fisherman of all forms (ponds, rivers & sea). I love watching animals work be it a dog, a ferret or a bird. Basically love all things outdoorsy.....apart from camping...thats shit. Willing to part with my experience & hoping to learn from others also. All the best
