Lad I know uses one as a gun dog, its obedient, retrieves fur and feather, good nose and works the cover well.... as ratting terriers, they are very good, not a well liked breed for obvious reasons regarding there origin.. :whistle: . :11:

Alright king, most dogs will catch rabbits but if you want the dog for just rabbiting I would stick to collie or bedlington greyhound/whippet type crosses... have a think before you jump in and buy anything though, buy from proven workers, ask on the site theres some very knowledgeable people on here also think about if you will be wanting to hunt bigger quarry as you progress, better to be safe than sorry...
