Greyman 25,258 Posted December 28, 2016 Report Share Posted December 28, 2016 I had a whippet cross back in the 80s that would catch squirrels quite regularly by taking a running jump at the trunk, she had a broken tail that had a right angle bend in it were she fell from quite a long way up and landed on her ass, I also had a little Black and Tan terrier that would come to work with me and go straight up the ladder and spend all day either on the top deck of the scaffold or even curled up on the roof, he was much better at going up than getting down but he would manage if I walked off, but I normally put him over my shoulder on the way down 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

She used to go up trees for squirrels as high as she could, she was just a pet dog but she was always catching the odd rabbit or squirrel. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
oxo 385 Posted December 28, 2016 Report Share Posted December 28, 2016 Had a Stafford that spotted a cat in a tree in the park one night, he ran up the tree which backed onto the park fence then someones back garden, cleared the 7 foot or so fence and landed in the garden.
