Guest OutdoorFanatic Posted October 1, 2014 Report Share Posted October 1, 2014 When your mum tells you to go to the shop for milk GO !Took my little yew catty and 5 , 9.5mm steel balls on my first trip to the shop i noticed a pigeon sat on a branch so i pulled my catty out and managed to drop it with a shot just below the neck i then went home as i didn't want to caught with the kill as i got home my sister was leaving my house and she was going to the shop too so me being me went back with her while she went in the shop i had a walk down the lane where i shot the first one i scared a few off but as i got further down the lane i noticed a pigeon landing on a large tree i missed the first shot and it flew across to another branch were i dropped it the impact was near the breast area therefore i had to quickly run to it and put it out of it's misery Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Guest OutdoorFanatic Posted October 2, 2014 Report Share Posted October 2, 2014 Had another walk today saw 2 squirrels but both were running on a fence so i didn't risk taking a shot in case i shot over the fence and into a window or something Also spotted a rabbit which was about 25 meter away from me i took a shot but was too low and landed a few meters infront of it No pigeons as when i got close to one it buggerd off arghh gonna practice on paper targets for a while so i can try my luck on the catty stand @ the Doncaster racecourse gamefair on sunday - hope to see a few of you there Quote Link to post Share on other sites
