Coyotehunter 689 Posted August 16, 2011 Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 To be honest , probably not, will it take ok portrait shots? probably, will it take a good shot of a lurcher doing anything but standing still? probably not, these super duper digital zooms are not very good to put it politely, the further you zoom the more degradation to the picture quality, you're beter off buying one of the first generation of DSLR's stick it on MM (Muppet Mode, aka green box mode ) buy a cheap and cheerful box standard lens and have at it, the older dslr's are very reasonable now, cos everybody wants all the bells and whistles with 20 megapixles, unless your getting into serious photography its all codswollop, just my 10p worth cheers CH Quote Link to post Share on other sites
