need advise on pregnent ferret

hi all

i have just been given a pregnant jill by some plank who thought it would be a good idea to mate her in her first year then changed his mind and did not want her.

she is showing all signs of pregnancy and was supposed to give birth tuesday but nothing as yet .i have never had a late arival yet as most are ontime.

could this be a phantom pregnancy.please advise

You would need to know how long she was in with the hob mate maybe she didn't catch first time but they can be a few days over there due date like any animal

as far as i know she was with him for twenty four hours

maybe but cant see why he would.

but he seems a bit of an idiot for mating when he got no good reason for it enyway.

Is the jill in any distress or pain ??

she seems fine as lively as normal when awake seems to sleep a bit more than normal . same as usual realy

Well she's probably a bit slow or tired as its near her time but if theres no pain or distress showing i dont think theres a problem yet mate
