May day madness!

Recommended Posts

Called to see chimp on the way home from work and finished up helping wire up a light on his Sportrack.

Then kindly got an invite to try it out!

We went to his permission around 10 and on the first grass field got 7 bunnies.

Did another field and added another 3.

Had one of those nights when it went well and most things I shot at with my trusty Titan Manitou dropped like stones!

On way back through the farm we had another quick sweep of the first field, plus a bit we missed first time round, and another 3 in the bag!

Did call on one other farm but the luck changed and I only shot 1 :icon_redface:

So thanks to chimp a good night out in great company.

Oh and the Sportrack is spot on for the job as well!

Hope he reads this and posts the pic he took!

It was a good nights shooting not ideal conditions but the bunnies were kind!

The Titans a .22 with a basic 4 x 40 scope.

I changed the moderator to a smaller one just for the night shorten the rifle!

May have to keep it on to see how it goes!

Must admit it was the best I had shot in a few weeks :D

For the record we had 13 on the first farm and one on the second Total of 14!

Good shooting lads. Did chimp actually drive around the fields or just on the tracks? I thought he was scared of getting that motor muddy?

We drove the fields mate as you know its very dry at the moment!

Mind in fairness its not a bad bit of kit.

Its in good nick got good tyres and its nice and quiet!

Much more suitable for the job than the Grand Vitara he had!
