Swampy 147
Its also worth putting an extra in line filter on. Depends what you mean by bio fuel. Recycled cooking oil or the stuff you get from the petrol station. I've run my 1997 TDI LR on recycled stuff for 5 years now. Get some cleaning gunk in the tank every 4 tanks or so and run normal diesel through it once in a while. You should be alright. rgds Swampy Ning
ssssh1forthepot 0
Spot on advise about the lucas fual pumps, they are no good they just cant cope with the extra thickness of the fuel and feck up after a while, I used to run a car on a veg oil diesel mix and ran fine check out this website http://www.biodieselfillingstations.co.uk/approvals.htm I think there is a list of cars on there and which pumps they have should give you an idea.
