davyt63 1,845
hi every one i went over to the business park today to shoot targets 10m standing 25m kneeling for the AAOC 2009 SUMMER EMAIL TARGET SHOOTING COMP' , well that went OK and decided to have a look round before i left for me Sunday roast. so jumped back into the car and had a little drive round spotted a couple of pigeons and double checked that they were in fact wood pigeons and not STOCK DOVES so up came the s410 to shoulder and two consecutive shots THWACK! THWACK!! both came down and i thought mmmmm A NICE MEAL COMING ON!! then i hear all this commotion and a bloke came running over to me took the two pigeons of me and said i was committing an criminal offence he would not listen to a word i said or even look at my written permission and that he was of to ring the police. so i went back to me car without giving him a dig and realised that i hadn't rang in for a U.R .N number ,because i was just going to shoot the targets. this is the first time i hadn't rang them and with in 5 minutes they turned up, just as i was picking up me magpie i just shot any way i spoke to them and very nice they were these were M.O.D police as I'm about a mile from the military collage of science in watchfield, i told them i have permission and showed them the paperwork and of they went in the direction of the "grass" so i carried on with my mission, half an hour had passed and back again they were some one else had reported me as well so i thought he came back and took my mobile number in case any one else rang and asked me how long i was staying and i replied not long now i have the right "DOG" he apologized and of he went this put me in a fowl mood so i packed up and fooked of, i didnt even get me pigeons back here is a pic happy hunting davy Quote Link to post

Freddy Watts 1
I would have shown up in court for that one. "Hunter claims theft of Pigeon's, know it all who knows sod all to blame!" Wonder what the outcome would be. Maybe you should try it next time. Tell him he can't have them because that is stealing. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
That plonker should get his own gun instead of nicking someone else's dinner. Good shooting though. ATB Michael Quote Link to post
