Holdaway 2
Well done shotty. It will soon be time to take the young off the branches with the airgun. We have one local rookery on my permission. Of course there are more but they are in church yards etc, I have never offered to clear one of those... I wonder... Keep up the battle mate, only several more thousand to go and we will make a dent... H Quote Link to post

aaronpigeonplucker 32
he knows that both rooks and crows are legal to shoot under the general licesnse so it dosent matter if he cant tell the difference between the 2. if it was somethiong like he couldent tell the difference between ferals and stock doves it would be a little more serious. zig zag wanderer 0
If you can't tell the difference between a Rook and a Crow then what happens when you mistake a Crow for a Chough or a Rook for a Raven? Know your quarry or leave it to someone who does. It's not nitpicking it's the first law of hunting or pest control. It doesn't take long to learn and you will be a wiser man for knowing. Why not buy a book on corvids? Quote Link to post
shottyscotty 3
i know the differance between a chough and raven but i will take what you said into account. and as far as leaving it to someone who does the previos shooters were kicked of for been messy so there is nobody else. its not like ive shot anything im not aloud to so chill out. The computer says....................No Quote Link to post

How about a feral pigeon and stock dove??? Quote Link to post
shottyscotty 3
i only shoot wood pigeons not ferals or stock or rock but whats that got to do with shooting crows Quote Link to post
woodga 170
this topic should be in the shooting section not on the trapping forum Quote Link to post
