withnellmoor 0
The mating was not planned and I to breed Cockers..Springers..Labradors...Our Cockers go for £650 and we have a waiting list..£250 for a healthy well bred gundog from excellently bred parents is not a bad price..and to be fair if you knew what you was talking about it is the going rate... From reading previous posts on here quite a few members do like the mix and have seen adds from members looking for a sprocker.. Unless you are interested go and raise the subject in the gundog section and stop hi jacking this post..
ferreter.al 22
didnt mean to offend anyone, just a quesion.like you say cockers fech good money and i couldnt understand who you would cross them.also im not a typical shooting man, only use my dogs for rough shooting, best of look with the sale of your pups
jakepotjo 3
they do make good looking dogs can tend to be head strong as i have seen but the mix is a better one then with a lab the pups should make a nice size not to big or small and in northants the going rate for sprokers is

withnellmoor 0
We can provide a copy of both parents peds as they are KC reg..but obviously the pups are not...Its strange on how people do add a value to a pedigree KC reg dog..but what are they buying?? With working dogs its different but why is a New Foundland a £1000..all your buying is a very big longhaired dog?? See I'm Hi jacking my own post now Regards Kev

withnellmoor 0
Wasn't having a go mate..it was me hi jacking......You are bob on..people do get het up on the KC reg bit....their are some very good dogs that are not KC and do the job very well....Their are probably more KC reg dogs that would never even come close to the grade..but the value is much higher... Send us some pics of the pups and a bit of info and I'll put them on my web site if it will help?? Regards Kev
zingiber 0
Good luck with the sale, if it was later in the year I would be interested! I know of two sprockers locally who are worked & they do seem to bring the best of both worlds to the field. No wonder people want these, they are 50% less initially than your average cocker & no doubt a shed load less in vets fees over a lifetime too... hopefully a healthy, happy breed one which is growing more & more popular. All the best.
robgriff1 4
Just like any other crosses you can bring out the worst from each side too. That said i've seen a few sprockers now & they've all been A1 workers. £250 seems the going rate & when you take off the cost of docking, flea & worming treatments & grub then it aint a bad price for 10 years or more of work from a dog is it? Guest jade19
in my opinion £250 is the going rate for a sproker as for the coment on un kc springers the main reason you will struggle mate is it is not difficult to pick a kc reg springer pup up for £250-£300 if your paying £200 your aswell adding the odds and getting a kc one in my opinion thats why you might struggle . all that aside i prefer the small type springer but have owned two both were fully kc reg and both were smaller than a cocker its nothing to do with the size somewhere down the line someone has not botherd regestering pups or the parents have been too young and thats more than likely why they wont be regestered. butcherboy 68
Kev Think you need to get that bl00dy cocker in solitary..................far far away form the others, the randy git!!!! Anyone buying these will be getting fantastic dogs off one of the best blokes you'll meet & trust me he knows a wee bit about gundogs!!!! Good Luck
withnellmoor 0
Cheers Butcherboy The wee lad can fit through galv panels..2 kennels away..or perhaps the kennel lad is confusing the dogs??? A guy came round for stud today and the little sod sat at my feet and would not move... Regards Kev
