woodga 170
What is the difference with bodygrips and fenn trap and also which ones are cheaper and which ones do you lot find the most effective?thanks the main difference between the two traps is very clear a fenn type trap incorparates a peddal on which the target has to stand in order to fire the trap this realeases the jaws which close upwards in a snapping motion ,a body gripper closes after the target has moved the triggers into which the dog or locking mecanism is attaced this trap has the advantage in so much as the target has to pass into the trap and is caught around the neck and upper body as this trap fires forwards and back wards at the same time, these type of traps are very versatile and can be set in some locations a fenn wouldnt work the body grippers come in a range of sizes as well. as for price you only get quality if you pay there are cheap chineese versions of both types of trap on the market and these will not last for long or do the job required , robbin tarrant from the magnum trap co, will provide you with quality traps Quote Link to post
IanB 0
As woodga says, the bodygrips also kill better than the fenns, as they strike across the chest area whilst the fenns strike across the shoulders.... Both good traps, the fenns you sit flush on the floor and they rest secure the bodygrips require stabilising, you can use umpteen different ways to do this... Quote Link to post
