chimp 299
my jill has taken and is about due but in the past couple of days have noticed it wont sleep in the same bed as the other jill (daughter) but will sleep on the open floor in the court . i have taken her out and put her in a hutch , she seems ok once she has woken up and eats and drinks well. any reason why she would be doing this Quote Link to post
bobdog 0
a lot of jills prefer solitude when getting near time to give birth Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Maybe your jill's just a bit warm, my ferrets sleep in front of the mesh when the get a liitle warm, if she chills off, she hops back in to her bedding. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Just give her a hutch & plenty of bedding on her own & let her get on with it Quote Link to post

Cold Ethyl 63
My jill slept out in the run when the snow was down.Id put hundreds of hay in for them and figured she was just too warm and her and the other halfs jill where snuggled together in the run if worried could you give her an old carboard box with a hole in it and a bit of bedding in case she doesnt want to share the nest maybe Quote Link to post
