whip x grey 276
there main fault,s is stamia,,,and being abit over keen there good points,,,,rabbits dont stand much off a chance my neibour has got one pup from my dogs 1st litter,, which is 5/8ths whip 3/8ths grey,,,,and because he,s using her for hunting seem,s to have bags more stamia than,,the rest off litter helps if they have a bit off a brain,,,ive had some in past that was dumb as sh~t lol,,,,,thank god the ones i have now, have abit off savvy,,,,but i only give mine some daytime rabbit,s when racing season finished ,,but i dont worry about them as they have a bit of a brain,,and havent picked up an injury to date, touch wood Quote Link to post

Guest oldskool
i think you cant go wrong with a good whippet x grey mate... you just need to know your ground before you let them off the lead because some of them go like the blazes... a mate had one called striker and it would run back to hand as fast as it went out to course .... she had lots of stamina and i dont know how she didnt get injured more often but she would bark like mad on the chase so he let her go... my old bitch (R.I.P) was a hell of a dog but she lacked a good coat and got injured regularly... she done it all includin fox and terrier work... if your lookin at litters mate, make sure you buy the one with the best coat... adrianvygus 0
I've got WhippetXgreys bitch pup, she's extremely fast, but still only eight months, she recovers quickly between runs, and I run 'em over some pretty impressive ground, I've used Whippet cross Grews before when I bred WhipxgrewXBeds (Not neccerailly in that order) personally i find that the whippet infusion adds a bit more brain and trainability in to the mix plus shed loads of speed. digger63 3
Ive seen the litter poacher3161 is talking about and they are cracking pups,as for whippet greyhounds 1st x,good catch dogs and sharp but expect plenty of vets bills, saw one go headlong into sheep netting at top speed and it had jumped an identical fence seconds before, wouldnt ever want to see that again, just to fast and intent on killing their quarry at all costs.
