built some new hutches for my ferrets a month ago,but felt they needed a bit more,so over the weekend i put together this little enclousure for them to muck around in over the summer, whilst there not after rabbit,its all meshed underneath the chippings and brought up past the board with mesh all sides and top, dont look great but they like it heres a pic of it, and a couple of my ferrets in it, feel better now they can have some time in there,

niceone mate,it does the trick,i tend to just let mine have a run around garden but at least you can leave them in there so they can have a "ferret" about and stuff,mite knock something up like that myself for the summer.niceone.

I would advise checking the wire on the run after they've been in there. My mate had one like that, and after a while, the ferrets chewed though the chicken wire and legged it! They didn't get far though!

i left part of the top mesh unfixed,i just roll back a section put em in,then pull it back tight over a couple of raised nails i put in the wood

I would advise checking the wire on the run after they've been in there. My mate had one like that, and after a while, the ferrets chewed though the chicken wire and legged it! They didn't get far though!

the same happened to me aswell sooner or later your ferrets are going to bite throught that wire and judging by the pictures you have some very nice ferrets to loose

Galvanised welded Mesh works well 20 pound a roll but .well worth it if you want to keep your ferrets
