cheers, the last one is my favourite aswell, i like the reflection in it...

 

Thats exactly what i liked as well & the little bit of flash on the edge

Cool shots Richie - I've been trying to get a shot of a drop of water with reflections, like the last, one ever since I saw some of the ones Alistair did... You beat me to it :clapper:

im glad you like them.... not as good as alistairs, but im getting there, im meeting up with him in the next few weeks..

 

that place you put me onto has inspired me..

 

the only problem with the lens i have is it has no focus, just magnification, the down side been if i want to focus stack i have to get the different images in focus by moving the lens further or closer by hand, i reckon i would get better shots with 100mm macro, atleast then the lens could stay in the same position but the focus could be changed to get different shots to stack.

cheers, it amazes me what can be seen in a drop.. it was only 1mm wide..

Ah... you'll be needing a geared tripod head with a sliding focussing rail...

 

You might find this interesting macro stuff

 

When you see Alistair ask him how he gets all those bugs to keep still! :) I reckon he uses superglue :whistling:
