Ferreting Mad 0
I'm getting two jills in a couple of weeks and I'm thinking whether or not to be build individual hutches or double deckers. Can anybody out there post ther pics of their ferret housing. Thanks.. Quote Link to post
Halfinch 51
Two jills will be better off together, unless you breed them, they should be fine with each other all year round. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
You could do a double hutch & a run for them , i am sure if you put some plastic tubing in the run & some other bits they will love it Quote Link to post
The one 8,592
Just build one hutch as big as you can they like company and if there raised together quite often they will quite happily have there kitts together ,and if you get a hob you can build another hutch later Quote Link to post
Funfuret 1
This is my ferret hutch. It's 5 feet wide and it's in a lean-to at the back of the house so they don't need a run. The different levels can be blocked off so I can separate groups if need be, and the top level can be removed if I want to reduce it down to 2 levels. Quote Link to post
lawrence 657
my mate owns a pet shop so i get these at cost, doesn't take much to make them ferret proof Quote Link to post
