We where talking about my lurcher crunching the rabbits she catches and i was told thats because there's bedlington blood in there

true or false ? must admit first time ive heard that one

There is the view that terrier blood in a running dog tends to produce hard mouths. There's terrier blood in mine and he usually crunches the first catch then when he's calmed down the rest are usually fairly undamaged. Cheers, D.

Smokey ,my blue dog has at least 1/4 beddie in him he never kills his catch, but I did have a dog 30 years ago Max Grey / bedddie/xCollie he had a mouth like a trap .bruised the shit out of everything he caught.
