BLUCHER 1
Gamefair season is now upon us so what do you like to see best of all, is it lure coursing, terriers, or lurcher shows, main ring events, equestrian events, just mooching round trade stalls, or catching up with old mates in the beer tent, and trying to outbullshit each other. One of my favourite things is people watching, i just love to see the army of oaktree clad hunters, harris tweed keepertypes parading round sweating their nuts off in 90 degree temperatures, what the hell is that all about. Mind you its a prettier sight than a kilt clad scotsman parading round selby show with red knees in sub zero temperatures. Only joking tom you did some sterling work there. Foxgun Tom 75
I've worn the kilt in far lower tempratures than Selby, that was nearly equatorial compared to some of the weekends up here, I have to say at game fairs and show's I'm a pretty social animal, its the beer tent for me meeting up with mates old and new and a couple of visits to the lurcher and terrier rings with an overflowing hipflask Tom

SportingShooter 0
I like to mooch around the trade stalls and see what they have to offer, I normally end up coming back with far more than anticipated but such is life I do stop and watch the majority of the events in the main ring. The Welsh wasn't at all bad last year, some very good demonstrations The CLA at Blenheim was a scorcher I remember, but still, it was a great day out, took most of the day just to walk through Gunmakers row Might only be the Welsh I go to this year SS

Strong Stuff 2,171
Women. Always lots of fit ones wandering around, love the posh ones who look all prim but really they're just desperate for a big nasty rough boy to grab them by the hair and drag them behind the nearest tent and force them to their knees to make them behave like the little f*****g sluts that they are ........... Erm ............... Did I go too far again? NURSE .............
SEAN3513 7
did you go to far ?????..........depends how far away the nearest tent is !!!!! spent part of a day helping my lad on gunmakers row at blenheim ( a small price to pay for free entry) he's a gunsmith at WATSON BROS ( london).........big money shotguns, beautiful things, almost to nice to use. i always enjoy the terriers/lurchers and hawks. nature v nature...can't beat it. ( i know its simulated at the shows, but you get the idea) cheers sean
Simoman 110
Don't listen to Strong Stuff, last year at the Midland he grabbed some long haired lovely and was behind the tent going hammer and tongs before he realised it was a rocker called Jeff............ I enjoyed the Welsh, the Midland and Selby get less enjoyable as they lean more and more towards commercial stalls and distance themselves from countrysports, I still like Chatsworth show, still has the "feel"............
