I couldn't ever write a book,.so fair play to him there,..but,..he did sell us down the river, and his early days being tutored by the likes of the late,.great Bert Gripton were conveniently forgotten....

i read the book donkeys years a go and it was brilliant , even if he was a twat , is book was ace ,

Whatever he is read it as a kid n thought it was magic

It was the only book i ever had as a kid that had a good section on lurchers in it, hence, i loved it. Obviously, with age and maturity i can now see it wasnt quite as good as i had thought, but still, its well worth reading.
