what rifle

Recommended Posts

if its only corvids then an fac air rifle will be fine. most of them are not as expensive as centrefires or rimmys anyway.

what do you no

i am wondering where aaron manages to get his fascinating facts and figures from. aaron we all appreciate anyones input but please make it relevant and only post if you're sure of yourself or enquiring. your outlandish statements are starting to annoy quite a few people (im not one of them because it wasnt long ago that i was 13 and i know how easy it is to get excited about everything) but please just take a step back and read rather than post outlandish and absolute statements that have no depth or justification to them. purely for your information. you can get a cz 452 new for 250-300 squid and second hand for around 100 quid.

hi all.

just got my fac aplication in front of me,i need a rifle, but what one ?.first off i aint a gun man to be honest, got shotguns but thats as far as it goes.

first off i aint shooting fox,i would never do that but crows play hell on the farms i hunt all the time with lambs and crops getting slambed every year.

crows at long range will be the target, thought about a hmr,but told wind can play hell with this calibre, and my farms are so close to the moon wind is a problem all year round.just need a tool that can take them out in all weather conditions really.

cost is a big factor to,but results are needed also. would a centre fire be better than a rim and what calibre woul you all recomend. thanks.

Hi mate dont know where you live. But you can be sure there are some people near you who will do the job for you free . Just make sure they are good gunmen and will not mess you about. That way you can get on with making a livng.atb.catcher. :clapper:

just a word of caution if you are shooting crows out of trees make sure you have a safe backdrop for the rounds that miss.personaly i think centrefire is o.t.t. for crows get closer it's safer.just my view. good luck
